It's both tragic and heartbreaking how many Trump supporters can't or won't see that. Tragically many of the people who will ultimately be hurt the most by Trump and his policies are among his most ardent and loyal supporters. Even more tragically, when the worst effects hit home, they will probably try their darnedest to rationalize some way to blame Democrats for what Trump did to them--just like Trump repeatedly blames Obama for things that he couldn't possibly have had anything to do with, and claims credit for any good thing Obama accomplished that Trump has not yet succeeded in undoing, or dares not yet try to undo.Themis wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2020 3:10 amRecession was inevitable even if they didn't have restrictions. Restrictions some of those evil Republicans instituted. Dangerous virus's have a tendency to change behavior of people. More so as the number of infected grows. If the government does a good job of controlling the spread as we see in many countries, citizens feel more comfortable getting back to a more normal routine. This virus is especially dangerous to the elderly, but also is killing many who are not old, and can have lasting health complications to many others. That is a long term cost to society.
Not as selfish as those who endanger the lives of others like friends and family.Damn selfish people trying to go to work and earn money.
Not as dangerous as Donald Trump and those who support him. Instead of working to balance the budget he increased the deficit by a lot making the US less prepared for national emergencies. He got rid of a pandemic team just because it was created by Obama and promoted behaviors that have probably cost the lives of tens of thousands of Americans. Trump is a danger to you economically and to your security. Instead of working to bring people together and calm the violence he actively promotes it. The US needs someone else who can make America great again after almost 4 years of darkness. The far left is absolutely crazy and incredibly dangerous.
And they still can not escape or rationalize away the fact of how horribly Trump has failed us on the pandemic response, compared to other nations.
