Dr. Moore, please return and report.
If not, I guess I could borrow one of Kenneth Gourdin’s 5 copies.

I've heard nothing about this but my gut feeling is that it's true. And if it's true, then it's definitely 10 ten material for 2021.

I believe that Dr. Peterson is scheduled to host an event next week where the plan is to screen clips from the “Witnesses” DVD. Boy, if ever there was a time for him to do his due diligence, this would be it. Think how devastating it would be if there, at the event, some eagle-eyed attendee were to spot a bit of CGI’d graffiti on the wall of the Smith family home that says, “Read the CES Letter”?

This is epic. Brent Metcalf should get a chuckle out of this. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Can someone who has the DVD please send a screenshot? Kenneth? MG?

I mean, just picture it: Mom, Dad, and the kids have settled in for a spiritually edifying night of Family Home Evening, and they're all there huddled on the couch, watching Witnesses when they notice that there, carved into one of the trees in the Sacred Grove, is the unmistakable image of an erect penis.

That’s just a reformed Egyptian character that translates to, ‘Nephi was here’.

This is killing me. I just might have to pick up a copy tomorrow and get screenshots.

I can always take the DVD back afterward and complain about the obscenities in order to get a full refund.

I wonder if Deseret Book should be notified that Witnesses has an erect penis in the Sacred Grove? At the very least, Deseret Book could then slap an NC-17 rating on the DVD box.

Parents must be warned not to purchase this pornography for the sake of the children.

DCP's next blog entry has already written itself!

"Over at a certain cesspool of a web forum, a few insignificant trolls have begun circulating the rumor that there is, contained within "Witnesses" DVD, something inappropriate. While I am very busy and do not have the time to verify this, blah blah here's 20 links to past articles from Interpreter."

What is Peterson's obsession with comparing this message board with fecal matter? He repeatedly does this and has for many years. While it may be acceptable to refer to the board as a cesspool on occasion it seems that Peterson's mind is always thinking of poop when it comes to this board. What are we, turds in a cesspool? What an awful way to talk about people in general who come together to discuss all aspects of Mormonism from every point of view in order to get to the bottom of things and understand truth. I think Peterson should stop referring to this board as a cesspool. It's unbecoming and undignified.

Wouldn't you agree, Dan? Just stop. Don't do it anymore. You can be better than that.

If only there could be an add-on scene to the Witnesses DVD, where Drs. Peterson and Midgley could parody that scene from the Life of Brian and argue about a Reformed Egyptian graffiti mentioning Nephites going home.

It would be fun to see those two dressed up in Reformed Egyptian costumes. It could be explained to Dr. Midgley that doing so would pay homage to Hugh Nibley.
