While I don't disagree with you per se, Cultellus, I think you were much closer in your earlier conversation on it. If these elections boil down to culture wars I don't think the GOP has what it takes to win. Sure these little "woke battles" can be used to press a bigger issue but they aren't the primary or root issue. They have a much better chance in hammering Biden's approval and genericaly the economy.
I think Tuesday was an excellent demonstration of 2 things. 1)The party in power has a hard time holding onto power, Americans are forever dissatisfied with the current temperature in the house. 2)A deeply unpopular President will hurt his party down ticket. That was true for Trump and it is holding true for Biden.
I also do not disagree with you. I see the sequence differently. Biden's approval ratings are, in large part, based on his culture war or the perception of him launching a war. His war on the economy is declared rather directly. You may disagree with that, but there is certainly that perception.
The woke battles began with the border, the Keystone Pipeline, the mask mandates and many other executive orders. That was the war, the polls followed, the mid-mid-term election followed. Biden earned this. And more people are distrustful of him and his close allies then were distrustful a year ago.

We can't take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don't have maybe what they're supposed to have. They get rid of some of the people who have been there for 25 years and they work great and then you throw them out and they're replaced by criminals.
