We attended the Dielsdorf branch (Zurich area) for three years. Very nice people, but very small attendance.
I really seem to have forgotten a lot from that time then. I don't recall there being a branch in the area of Dielsdorf, just the two Zurich wards, the Winterthur Ward, and a branch in Schaffhausen going up from Zurich to the German border. If I'm reading the internet right, it looks like the Zurich ward still meets in Schwamendingen where it met when I was there but is one ward only now.

I agree the people were very nice overall. Maybe having been lucky enough to spend two years in that part of the world contributes to why I don't feel a lot of anger towards the church.

A thread on exmormon reddit posted leaked sacrament meeting attendance statistics for all stakes in the UK and Ireland for the past 10 years. As you can see, there is some serious haemorrhaging going on in some stakes. All years are the average of the 4 quarterly reports, the 2020 numbers are only the first quarter. If you listen to voices in some quarters, the pandemic has led to an exodus, so the 2021 numbers are likely to be terrible.

Allegedly. Thought I'd add that disclaimer just in case someone asked if these numbers can be verified. Anecdotally, many have confirmed the numbers as being in the right ball park.

We attended in Dielsdorf from 2008-2011. There's also a Basel unit, a ward I think.

That would also explain it. The Basel Ward had multiple missionary companionships assigned to it when I served in the mid 90s. But it was a different stake from Zurich, too. I was never in an area in that stake so it could just be I don't recall a Dielsdorf branch from then if it was in that stake.

I really enjoyed the Zurich ward ( Zuri Zwei). We'd jokingly call it the working Ward since the 1st Ward had all the office elders and AP companionship assigned to it. Because travellers would often attend the 2nd ward because of the meeting time, we'd often pull translation duty for sacrament meeting by sitting in the row behind the visitor or family who didn't speak German and whispering on-the-fly bad German-to-English. The Schwamendingen location is burned into my brain due to the way the regional train announced the stop.

Were you there for work?

We just have friends in Basel and went there for Thanksgiving for several years. I thought I would mention it as another Swiss unit.

The Dielsdorf branch is in the Zurich area, sorta between Zurich and Bulach.

We were there for work. There's a big expat presence in Switzerland. In fact, in some European units (Paris, London, Edinburgh, Schwamendingen, Basel...the unit is significantly impacted by transient workers or even tourists. Some swell by thirty percent or so in tourist seasons. The Edinburgh ward even had special announcements to accommodate the large percentage of Sunday visitors...alot of them LDS who happened to be in town.

It would be interesting to do a total for each year which could then be compared to the declared membership for those same years. Is the table editable? Or just a PDF?

These numbers put the activity rate of UK and Ireland closer to 5%. If these figures can be verified that'd be very telling.

Without being specific, I can say that the figures for one Stake on that list are accurate, if actually a little on the inflated side. If I recall correctly the count is done manually as a "headcount" during Sacrament Meeting and reported once a month, and that those activity levels are linked to getting certain levels of funding etc.

The Church might be dying in Europe and the rest of the world, but most of you are forgetting something very important.

DCP's Witnesses will soon be available in DVD format for sale on the Interpreter's website, or it will be available on a streaming service. This should pretty much stop the hemorrhaging.
