I gave my impressions of this tonight in a Thursday Night Special Live session for an hour. Good job Vogel!

It was a fantastic presentation.
Thanks man. It was fun to do actually. Sometimes those turn out to be decent videos.

I need to listen to this today. Ha, the Egyptian Book of the Dead by Faulkner is glaringly noticeable above your shoulder. Great graphics and a timeless presentation into real Egyptian thought.

In response, YouTube notified me: “we do NOT plan to remove your video(s) at this time.”
They tried to be unFAIR, but you prevailed.

This fills me with delight.

Not sure it's over. Their response to YouTube didn't sound like they accepted the decision.

I am not a lawyer but I do know that Mormon leaks that operated for several years under similar circumstances was finally forced to essentially shut down because of a lawsuit from the Jehova's Witnesses . They couldn't pay the legal fees. Be careful.

This may provide you a real opportunity to raise the stakes and beat them at their own game. Consider this: Notify all parties that you are going to take down the video as requested. Then take down the video.

THEN, work on a second podcast that will be even BETTER than the first but shows less of their video. Provide some super graphics and lots of citations. Make it even better than the first! Do you get what I'm saying? You'll get a lot more viewers and garner FAIR's attention even more. I would have to say that you'll triple the viewers by redoing it and presenting a new podcast that makes your points even clearer.

Think about it. It's an opportunity and you have everything to gain.

If you take down the video it will be over and all complaints will cease. No more worries. You can regroup and do another video. A new and improved video with less copyright material will serve to up the anti as you come through with a more powerful punch! It's your hand to play, Dan. You might find that to be more easier to deal with than possible litigation and hassle. Please, consider my advice on this matter. Shulem is wise. Trust me. ;)

Well, thanks! It really does offer an opportunity to broaden the scope and get the message out. First, you can be sure that once the *New & Improved* version is released it will be carefully reviewed by all the apologists to make sure it's on the up and up and doesn't violate what they consider is fair copyright. Everybody will want to tune in to see what Vogel has to say and see if they can find fault!

It's win-win situation for Vogel. He will come out smelling like a rose while the poor destitute apologists will be left holding an empty bag as it backfires in their faces and further puts them into a state of isolation.

I don't believe they have any legal basis, but if I were to redo it I would simply have someone read Gee's part. Just having Gee not speaking would improve the video. He's so slow speaking, I was tempted to silently speed it up.
