THISandThat.
Off-duty US Customs and Border Protection agent Jacob Albarado had only just sat down for a haircut when his wife Trisha, who is a fourth-grade teacher at Robb Elementary School texted him:
“There’s an active shooter,” she wrote. “Help,” she sent before sending a chilling: “I love you.”
His daughter, a second-grader, was also in the building, locked inside a bathroom.
Jacob turned around and asked his barber to borrow a shotgun, and fearlessly rushed into Robb Elementary School with his barber’s shotgun and rescued dozens of children and his daughter.

America does not need more gun control.
America needs a system that acts on obvious red flags.
Killers are mentally unstable. Politicians should stop focusing on the guns and focus on the crazies whose fingers pull the triggers.

Re: THISandThat.
Cool story, except that Jacob said he didn’t go into the school at all. He helped evacuate children, but from outside the school. The actual facts are praiseworthy without adding things that did not happen. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2 ... alde-scho/Elizabeth wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 10:53 pmOff-duty US Customs and Border Protection agent Jacob Albarado had only just sat down for a haircut when his wife Trisha, who is a fourth-grade teacher at Robb Elementary School texted him:

These days media reports are continually found to be incorrect.
How they still keep their jobs and are allowed to continue misrepresenting the truth is the mystery.
Years ago reported news was usually factual and without spelling and grammatical mistakes.

So, you would rather believe fiction than fact? What reason do have for trusting the accuracy of a paramilitary organization’s website?

Seas are wild and white with foam racing Northward. Sun is shining.
So grateful to be behind glass in the warmth and safe from the seas.. unless of course there is a tsunami, which hopefully there will never be.
