Jenn Kamp needs to make as much hay as she can before the evidence comes out.
There is a great deal of documentary evidence that will demonstrate she is being disingenuous and hasn’t a leg to stand on.
Go, Jenn! Go!
I will be interested to see as much evidence as can be made available. Whatever the evidence supports is what I will be inclined to believe. In my opinion, putting up the weepy video was not a good call on Kamp’s part. I tend to think it weighs against her credibility. If she has the goods, she will let the legal system do its thing. If this is about a publicity campaign against Dehlin, she did exactly the right thing.

Seems we read the same information but interpreted it differently. They were both wrong for their water-cooler romance, but John had the smarts to end it. Rosebud on the other hand seemed purely conniving. That wanting to take over the Open Stories Foundation was the exclamation point on my interpretation.
Currently, I lack any information as to Jenn's job termination. I do think John liked the idea of having an empathetic cast member and that is why he brought in Margie.
Jenn lost a pile of credibility by going public with her private grievance.

Yeah I haven’t heard any allegations near pedophilia nor rape…just plain old sexual harassment, intimidation, and mistreatment. I don’t think sexual harassment is something less because it’s “technically sexual harassment”. But it’s way behind us. I don’t think we need to rehash it. And I leave room for disagreement.
Hopefully nothing untoward happened in this more current situation. I have nothing negative to say about Jenn Kamp. I never heard of her before this. Whether there was intimidation and abuse or not I find myself feeling sympathy. I certainly can imagine the possibility she’s making something out of nothing. I can also imagine a possibility that she genuinely felt mistreated when it’d be hard for a third party to say anything bad happened…and yet I can’t dismiss the possibility her accusations may have truth to them. But what can you do? Don’t know…trying not to conclude either way.

An employee has accused her superior of harassment in the workplace. I am astonished that so many have not actually addressed that issue. The discussion of the accuser's crying during a podcast or making minimal or unhelpful comments during a podcast is not the issue here, unless her employers are stating she was fired for those specific reasons, and after that fact, she made the accusation, which they consider to be a retaliatory measure. As far as i know, that is not the case, but more information would be helpful.
At the moment what we know is that she is stating that she made a harassment complaint, and then was fired. That harassment complaint should be the topic of discussion, not the victim's attributes, unless one is stating that those attributes specifically led to an invalid harassment charge.
As much as i dislike the Mormon tear-filled voice, i'm having a difficult time concluding that the existence of that tear-filled voice can be interpreted unequivocally as evidence that the owner of the tear-filled voice is fraudulently claiming harassment.
I agree with DStem, it seems the issue is still unknown, and no conclusion can be made yet.

Yep. Top to bottom, well said. Couldn’t agree more.

As someone who has read Jenn’s demand letter, reviewed the evidence, and has first hand experience working for the Open Stories Foundation for several years, I have never been more certain about standing with John. I believe the evidence overwhelmingly disproves the claims.
An employer can’t be held hostage by an employee if the employee isn’t a good fit. I mean, what does “mistreatment” even mean? No one likes to get sacked, but dropping a video after suing your employer for harassment or mistreatment seems to me either fantastically ballsy or stupid.
And, let’s say she gets a few clicks on her new show, or is able to sell some merch from her website from this move - cool, but not sustainable.
