John Larsen leaves Mormonism (again)
John Larsen leaves Mormonism (again)

Mormon Expression was an invaluable resource in my faith transition, and I can’t thank John enough for validating the experience of dealing with being inside such an insane religion. It made dealing with Mormons at church every week bearable, knowing I wasn’t suffering alone.
I’m happy to see him step away again. No one needs to wallow in Mormonism once they’ve graduated to the place most of humanity is at - blissfully unaware of the religion’s existence.

Why did he go back in the first place?
"It’s ironic that the Church that people claim to be true, puts so much effort into hiding truths."

It has been quite a ride with John. I haven't been very enthused about him for some time, but I know a lot of people benefitted from his contributions. He and I clashed one day on Facebook, and I decided I had had enough of interacting with him. Not that this matters. He was an important voice for many people, and on his best days he could be a really cool guy. Some of his podcast episodes were among the best out there. I wish him well, and I really sympathize with Mormon fatigue.

This is what he does. He's said he's done with it a couple of times already and left, with the declaration that this is it! He always comes back.
See you next time, John Larsen.

tl;dc - John Dehlin asked. Also, he, JL (that’s John Larsen, for Dr. Shades) is gonna try farming.

Hugh Nibley claimed he bumped into Adolf Hitler, Albert Einstein, Winston Churchill, Gertrude Stein, and the Grand Duke Vladimir Romanoff. Dishonesty is baked into Mormonism.

Would you like to thank John and support his efforts on a his sustainable farm? Click on the link to open the Amazon shopping page where you can buy tools, materials, and supplies for the farm!
I guess he thinks he can get people to donate more money to his farming hobby than he could for his Mormon hobby.
