A group of people assaulted police officers to such an extent that it traumatized a few so horribly that they later took their own lives. Some were combat vets who described the situation as worse than anything they experienced in combat in third world countries. Trumplicans will rejoice when those people are pardoned.

The punisher flag, "back the blue," and "law and order" have officially become woke.

They were likely Trump voters themselves; At least many of them were (LE during Trump's own presidency), and they were ordered to be killed by their own people, including the president they voted for, for explicitly defending the US capitol from a mob. That's why it drove them to the bitter end. It's far different to be mauled by the enemy than by your own family; the psychological consequences are different.

The great thing about a party led by a mob mentality where the message can change 90 degrees on the fly is that people get confused about what they're supposed to believe in. I'm sure if Ajax would have been guarding the capitol he would have turned on his fellow officers and helped the mob attack them. Isn't that right, Ajax?

It's definitely been interesting watching MAGA-types on social media as Trump and President Elon have been laying the groundwork to give American citizens all of the low paying jobs that immigrants do now, and giving all of the high paying jobs to new immigrants instead of American citizens. Kind of creating a mini-war between those who prioritize loyalty to Trump, and those who prioritize white nationalism.

I wonder what it's like being a MAGA Trumplican, and watching American policy being crafted by an African immigrant oligarch who should have been deported after overstaying their Visa? Must make for some fun cog-dis.

I don't know what you're complaining about because you've admitted flat out that Republicans have voted for socialism just as much as Democrats.
Republicans have embraced more socialism than I would have liked for sure. But as much as Democrats? I don't think so.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Trump has blamed both an illegal migrant and Democrats for the New Orleans truck attack.

Perhaps Ajax can elaborate using inaccurate information and Trumpian logic.

And the perpetrator was not even an illegal migrant, but a born in America U.S. Citizen. There is apparently no limit to Trump and his MAGA cohorts' irrational hatred and pathological dishonesty. How so many U.S. citizens could have been persuaded to vote for him is both incomprehensible and a national tragedy!

Maybe Trump is onto something here, and we should rethink the rest of the US having open borders with Texas.

Good suggestion! Especially considering the corrupt scumbags who currently rule in Texas, like Greg Abbot and Ken Paxton (whom even some of the most hard right conservative Republicans in Texas tried to impeach for clearly criminal actions).

There is another level of culture war here: If Democrats want to help poor people then we like rich people. Being on the side of rich people who "earned it" (somehow) has definitely been a thing for right-wingers, even poor right-wingers. It seems like some of these folks have caught a glimpse of the fact that Trump serves his fellows in wealth and power first, not the masses who vote for him. But it's just a glimpse. I haven't kept up with the back-and-forth, but I suspect the non-rich of trash media will cry themselves to sleep and accept their place.

I doubt that either de facto President Musk or his puppet, Trump, really care in the slightest how many or how badly lower income or impoverished Americans will be hurt by their policies, now that they have won the election, as long as they can achieve their desired further enrichment of themselves and the wealthiest of the wealthy to the detriment of nearly everyone else. I fear we are in for 4 years of the most bigoted, cruelest and most unmitigatedly corrupt administration in American history.

They don't even try to deny or hide the fact that cutting back on social security, Medicare and other programs and policies that help the neediest and most disadvantaged of us is essential to implementing their goal of further, massive tax cuts for the very wealthiest of the wealthy.
