Wonder why the photos disappeared there?

I'm still working on product of course. I skip a day here and there of course just to give my imagination a refresh. I'll try to get some pics up here soon. Putting the finishing touches on the fake bake bread this weekend. Got most of my wood pieces base coated and ready to finish. Still a few left to do. Also have some pieces to transform from vintage type containers (vase, sleigh, etc.) just to see if I can get good at it. More fake bake ideas for air dry clay and then on to paper crafting.

Basically it's like a rolling craft process around here. As I'm working on one thing the raw form of the next is getting ready to replace it. Hard to explain. It's craziness.

I always think I know exactly what I'm going to make and "that's IT!" then along comes another idea that makes me chase it! Almost everything I'm doing is new this time!

Trying to do the messy things outdoors so when the weather starts to turn to fall rain showers (it already is) I can do the finishing work and also the non-messy things (paper) indoors.

Preferrably with a nice pumpkin spice or maple butter wax warmer going and a nice movie to watch! 8-)
Sounds really nice. Hopefully the rain holds off a little longer. British weather just does what it wants. The forecast could say one thing and the actual weather is completely different. It's not too bad at the moment.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Winter spice and movies sounds lovely. I love that about winter and hot chocolates in PJs with blankets. Definitely the best part.

Aw thanks! Everything would be so much nicer and go more smoothly if it weren't for symptoms. It's been raining here every afternoon. I remember how rainy it was (and green!) in Paisley when I visited and Edinburgh (Those black face sheep in the green pastures on the bus ride from Glasgow...so beautiful!) freezing cold and windy! It never rained when we were in London, just cloudy some days but pleasant. A little Harry Potter-ish. ;-)

This afternoon (Tues) I got smart and took the painting inside which I don't like to do but the rain is getting in my way so...that's what I did with a movie going. I'm decorating the fake bake bread and base painting shelf sitters cut from pine wood. Base painted some wood candy canes as well. Once I've got the wood done, then I've got paper crafting, snowman ornaments, and some little sewing (or non-sew depending on what I decide) of bowl fillers.

The ones I'm doing are Primitive Country style things. I'll put an example here. You can also do it into ornaments (ornies) if you want. You can also use them for "tucks" which are like bowl fillers but can also also be put on sticks and ...tucked into things. I won't know what I end up with until I start doing it. It's just stuffed stuff but I love the style so much. I'll probably add more items as I tend to come up with ideas. While I'm working on one type I'm already dreaming up something else to make and how to make it. Some kind of craziness going on in my head all the time. ;-)

Primitive tucks, bowl fillers, ornies...these are not mine. They're meant to look old if you "grunge" them up. Grunge is a type of coffee or tea staining that often involves cinnamon, sometimes vanilla extract, nutmeg to make them look old and smell nice.

Ooh they are cool. It sounds like you could be dynamic and make a variety using the same ornaments. Made me think of flower bouquets with the extra things in them.

Sounds like the rain didn't hold off for you. We've got nice weather at the moment. The sun is out.

I bought a hamster in paisley once. Lol. You got the bus from Edinburgh to Glasgow? My mum lives right next to the sea and it rains a lot at hers. It's often bleak. She has a sea view but some days it's so dull out you can barely see it.

My daughter has just got up at 10am on the dot. Lol. She couldn't have timed that any better.

Today I plan to do a once over with the hall paint. It's already that colour but my son's bike has marked the wall and I figured since I'm pleased with the living room I'll just do a quick roll over with the blue in the hall. The hall is similar to the living room with dark blue at the bottom and white on top. I was going to do grey on top and picked an expensive "suede" paint which wasn't like suede on the wall. It was like sandpaper. So I sanded it off and repainted it white. So now I have tins of grey "suede" paint that I have no intention to use.

So this is my little work station off our back porch. Nothing fancy. The piece of wood is to keep the wind from blowing the tablecloth on my surface. I also put things to dry on there. It's nothing, really. I have a spray station rigged up that doesn't show in the pic. You can see the legs of the plastic "saw horses" I have it on.

I'll post the "done" photos when they're finished.

I didn't finish the fake bread yet. I thought I knew how I was going to embellish them, started, and then changed my mind. Happens all the time. I start out with an idea and get another, then change everything until I'm okay with a project.

Don't like the way the pumpkin color looks there. It's a bit more subdued in real life. Also didn't mean for them to be so shiny. I'm pretty okay with it. The fabric is going to be their "wraps" when I'm done. The seeds are real but they're not pumpkin. I harvested them from gourds that I dry out and use for decor in fall. Don't question the process. I experiment all the time. With everything. I did paint the seeds a little with a grunge wash. The other toppings are real rolled oats and a type of crushed corn cob litter for animals.

I truly can't be helped. Too far gone.

Dropping in for a sec. Just wanted to say I expect to post pics of my finished new craft babies for inspiration to the DIYers in the group! Finishing touches are going on as we speak, I mean as I type and take a tea break. Those little bread babies in the photo above are all dolled up and ready to go! First delivery is Tuesday. Intend to be done-done by Sunday afternoon. :D

Kind of reminds me of when i get to reading two or three books in a time frame. Not sure why that happens sometimes. Or get the fall decor out, with Thankgiving rooster this year  then want to put it up and break out Christmas stuff. Then January rolls around and I’m not ready to breakdown Christmas, and already thinking about the color scheme for next year. Pretty sure there is some ADD in the mix.

You just described my mind every. single. day. Crafting and home decorating. I have WAY too many ideas that take over my mind to be honest, my life. I'm trying to exercise self restraint.

ADD: Accelerated Decor Disorder.

So you're having Rooster for Thanksgiving this year? I totally dig it! 8-)

Let me give this a whirl right quick. First delivery is tonight. Pics are the best I could do on short notice. There's more items I don't have time to snap photos of. Will try to edit out my ID in a close up of the breads later. In it up to my eyeballs right now. ;)

You are the epitome of an early innovator!! Every time you post your creations, I know I will see a version of them EVERYWHERE in this year's decor.
