Is JOSEPH SMITH more important than Jesus the Christ? Is Jesus the Christ more important than JOSEPH SMITH or are THEY both equal? Why or why not?
Also, is the Bible more important than the Book of Mormon or are THEY both of equal value? Why or why not?
WHO or WHICH is most important?

Re: WHO or WHICH is most important?
Who are you asking this question to?
As a nonbeliever, I don’t believe in the biblical claims or the divinity of Christ as a Savior of mankind. But I suspect a wise man named Jesus once lived and early Christians perverted his teachings to whatever effect.
I believe everyone is equal and everyone is one. We are the ocean in a drop or a drop in the ocean -- take your pick. Nobody is any better or of more worth than anyone else.
To hell with the ego! I got rid of mine for now. It is very liberating.
All is one.

The question is primarily directed to those who hold to LDS doctrine. Since you don't believe in GOD, that would absolve you from having much of an opinion in this matter that is relevant.Shulem wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 4:20 pmWho are you asking this question to?

You have no call to say I don’t believe in God. My post revealed that I don’t believe in the God of the Bible or the LDS version of God.

Apparently you didn't make yourself entirely clear. However, the reality is that the thread I posted regards the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and Jesus Christ and JOSEPH SMITH. Your views of early Christians is irrelevant to this particular discussion as you deny Christianity and even the LDS consider themselves "Christian". You did ask the question, regarding to whom am I addressing this question to? Obviously, you don't like the answer I provided."As a nonbeliever, I don’t believe in the biblical claims or the divinity of Christ as a Savior of mankind. Let me make myself entirely clear by saying I do not believe in the God of the Bible or the divinity of Christ as a Savior and nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet and has any right to tell me what to do.LittleNipper wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 5:30 pmAgain, here is your original post:

I hope that helps.
But, I do believe in God. The real God!
I disagree, my views are entirely relevant and I got my eyes on this thread. I am welcome to participate and comment as much as I want as a nonbeliever of the Bible God and a believer in the real God.LittleNipper wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 5:30 pmHowever, the reality is that the thread I posted regards the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and Jesus Christ and JOSEPH SMITH. You say you believe in the real God. What do you base your beliefs on? Why would not the "real" God attempt to interact with HIS creation by contacting man through Divine Inspiration?Shulem wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 6:36 pmLet me make myself entirely clear by saying I do not believe in the God of the Bible or the divinity of Christ as a Savior and nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet and has any right to tell me what to do.

Re: WHO or WHICH is most important?
Yes, I said that. Correct.
My eyes are open and I am awake.
The real God is in constant contact with humans every day all over this planet. The idea of creation is not comparable with that of mythical terms given in the Bible. We probably do not agree on what classifies “Divine inspiration.”LittleNipper wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2026 11:54 pmWhy would not the "real" God attempt to interact with HIS creation by contacting man through Divine Inspiration?
Also, God is not a “HE”. The Infinite God is both Male and Female in principle -- but more Female because She gives birth to everything that manifests in the multi-universes.

Re: WHO or WHICH is most important?
That's your opinion without anything to back it up. GOD is not female though HE does have a nurturing side according to the Bible. However, HE created the Universe by speaking it into being according to the Bible. GOD didn't give birth to it. I do agree that GOD through the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT is in contact with all those that are saved through faith in Christ. The Creation story in GOD's Word is straight forward and follows a logical course of events.Shulem wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2026 12:38 amYes, I said that. Correct.
