Christ is GOD and gave HIMSELF as the only permanent sacrifice for everyone willing to accept HIM as their SAVIOR
What does God need with a starship, er, I mean human sacrifice?

The above were/are all a Satanic perversion. That is what Satan does. He twists the truth and distorts it or makes one question it.
Genesis 3:1-5
1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

One might also think that a talking serpent (Gen 3:1), donkey (Num 22:28), and eagle (Rev 8:13) are all tricks of the devil -- Satanic manifestations for God! Or just symbolism to tell a story? Revelations tells of a lion, ox, and eagle and how they play their parts in imagery that is not associated with Satan but are God’s own magic tricks. Right? ;)

Then we could also mention how Daniel and Ezekiel used lots of different animals to describe persons and things. Thus we see that both are guilty as charged for twisting and distorting the truth:

[x] Satan

The concept of God requiring human or animal sacrifices for the forgiveness of sins is in my mind the most revolting religious concept ever devised by the mind of man. It was a horrible idea from the get-go. Hopefully, in another couple thousand years, biblical sacrifices will have been long forgotten as the human race moved on and grows up. Christ is not coming back -- that is the greatest false prophecy of the entire Bible!

The reality is that because everyone sins, everyone is excluded from GOD's presence ---- no matter how seemingly insignificant the sin may seem. This means that everyone must pay the fine of eternal separation from GOD unless one has a perfect SAVIOR to pay the penalty in their place. This is what GOD did on our behalf. The prescribed animal sacrifices were merely illustrations of what Christ would accomplish upon the cross. Those that followed GOD's prescribed sacrificial laws were doing so with an understanding that they were counting on GOD to save them, and it wasn't about works.

I view Bible God as Sinner-in-Chief for setting up the program in the first place in which humans are raised up in a natural state of survival which forces this God to demand murder on a cruel sacrificial altar in order to satisfy his egotistical thirst for blood and suffering. It reminds me of a mean little boy who holds up a spider and pulls his legs out one by one just to show who is the strongest. The need for blood and suffering in order to appease a sinister plan is -- divine wickedness, or rather the sick mind of man. Hence, the God of the Bible is the real villain. Needless to say, I have no respect for the Bible God concept. For me, he is unreal and does not exist. Furthermore, I AM more powerful than him and can swat him away and make him vanish at will because he does not exist.

Faith in one hand and myth in the other. I think 2,000 years without Christ is all the proof anyone needs to know that the sacrifice was nothing more than faith in a myth that never materialized. Jesus is not coming back, ever. He is dead. Gone. Finished.

I have to think that the same thing was said by others a thousand years ago.

Why must the "fine" be a bloody, torturous, extended, deathly human sacrifice?

The writers of the Bible were interested in stoking fear and dread into the hearts and minds of those who subjected themselves to the cult. It's all about fear and getting people to tremble. It's pure evil masquerading as love.

Sidebar: the yearly Hebrew Yom Kippur event did not require a torture. And it required two goats (or sheep.) One goat was banished to the wilderness after the high priest confessed Israel's sins on its head. The other goat had its blood spinkled on the mercy seat, but it was not tortured. It did not suffer agony for several hours. It was simply killed and separated from its blood (because the blood contained the "life" (Lev 17:11), which we today know is incorrect.) (Lev 16.) The New Testament atonement account of Jesus not comport with these two important details.

Sidebar continued: moreover, the sacrifice of the Passover Lamb did not involve torturing the animal for hours. Nor did any other animal sacrifice in the Hebrew Bible. It was the death and blood that mattered since the "life of the soul is in the blood." (Lev 17:11.) If the death and blood is what mattered, why would God feel the need to torture Jesus for hours? Or put conversely, if torture was a necessary element of atonement, why didn't the allegedly typological Hebrew animal sacrifices require torturing the animal for hours?
