Gambling is placing a wager on a yet unknown outcome. One who places a bet thinks that the potential outcome bet upon will be the outcome.
No one alive knows that there is an afterlife, much less a god and even lesser so the Mormon conception of a god. But, those who join the Mormon church and pay 10% of their increase as tithing are placing a bet on a yet unknown outcome. It's a gamble, it's Pascal's Wager.
One who benefits greatly from Mormon's placing their 10% wager is D. Todd Kristofferson, who Saturday openly condemned secular gambling. The irony is patent.

Talks about porn have become extinct. I assume the war on porn was won by the porn producers because apparently the church thinks it is a lost cause. Gambling appears to be the new bogeyman along with podcasts critical of the church.

Sports gambling has much, much better odds than the Salt Lake Mormon Church being true.
Maybe it’s worth it just for the chance to be a bigamist for eternity!
