Your first sentence was unnecessary and did not add to the conversation.
It was a sincere question, and necessary because you keep describing the Restoration as an evolutionary process involving additional light and knowledge.
But restoration implies that something once existed, was lost, and needed to be restored. What exactly was that something? What was its original form, and how do you know it was lost?
And if what was restored continues to evolve and change, what are we even talking about?

I think if you read my last post carefully you will determine what I’m talking about. Again, I will ask, do you consider yourself to be a Creedal Christian that believes in the Triune God? If so, is this God the one Jesus refers to in His teachings found in the New Testament?
When He prays to His Father in Heaven…at His baptism…etc.,etc.

I think if you read my last post carefully, you’ll determine what I’m asking.
What exactly was lost that Joseph Smith needed to restore? And if the Restoration is continually evolving into something different, how do you tell restoration from innovation?
Surely that’s not an unreasonable question to ask about something called the Restoration.
