No Second Coming! I prophesy!

Post by Shulem »

There is absolutely no chance (zero) the bloody Mormons will witness the fulfillment of the so-called Second Coming of Christ within the next ten years. Joseph Smith's favorite prophecy will NOT be fulfilled and I will check the boxes, year by year, to celebrate my prophecy having come true on an annual basis.

There will be NO Second Coming, period!

Let me try and apply logic to what I think the Church’s doctrinal positions are on this.

1. We are sent to earth to gain a body and experience some stuff.
2. Every spirit in the spirit world has to come to earth, because #1.
3. Christ cannot return until #2 has been completed.

So people would need to stop having babies (because there’s no more spirits waiting to come to earth) before Christ can come again. So the key indicator of a second coming would be global infertility.

I’m happy to be corrected if there’s a doctrinal position that says Christ can return before all the spirits have been given a chance to experience their earthly existence - but that would create another plot hole. If a child is born when Christ is reigning, they won’t be subjected to the temptations and challenges that it is said are the whole point of going through an earthly existence.

Given the ambiguity, why does the church continually bang on about the second coming… well…the promise that a divine figure will return to judge humanity can function as a powerful way to encourage people to remain obedient, morally vigilant, and committed to a religious community, and for the LDS church, keep them paying tithing.

Ezra Benson in 1980 said “You students are a part of a choice young generation—a generation which might well witness the return of our Lord.” When a prophet seer and revelator gives an indication like that, it never ages well.

As an aside. It would be fantastic if Christ returned. All the speculation and debate about who’s most right would be ended in the blink of an eye. And then what would we have to discuss?
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

[x] Jesus did NOT return in 2026

Notice how the false prophet speaks to the living Latter-day Saints as if some alive will experience the fulfillment of prophecy in their own lifetime after having been brainwashed in the temple:
Russell Nelson, General Conference, April 2025 wrote:Increased time in the temple will help us prepare for the Second Coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We do not know the day or the hour of His coming. But I do know that the Lord is prompting me to urge us to get ready for that “great and dreadful day.”
So, get ready!

Sound familiar? It sounds like there are some standing who will not taste of death until the Lord comes! Sadly, for Russell-baby, he died and never saw the prophecy fulfilled. The same will happen to each of the members of today's First Presidency (age 94, 93, 81) and Quorum of the Twelve -- they will all die, one by one, and never see the prophecy fulfilled. Another generation will begin and the cycle will repeat wherein the prophecy will remain in effect but never be fulfilled.

This business of not knowing the day or the hour is old news. The bloody Mormons don't even know in what century their Jesus is supposed to return! Poor Joseph Smith, he screwed the pooch whereby his silly prophecies were way off the charts! But it makes for great entertainment!

That devotional speech is still taught in the Student Manual The Living Prophet: The President of the Church, but now that 46 years have passed, it's safe to say the vast majority of those students that listened to blabber-mouth Benson are now retired and are still waiting for their lucky chance for Mormon Jesus to come down out of the clouds and punish the wicked. In context, Benson continued by saying:
Benson wrote:You students are a part of a choice young generation—a generation which might well witness the return of our Lord.

Not only is the Church growing in numbers today, it is growing in faithfulness and, even more important, our young generation, as a group, is even more faithful than the older generation. God has reserved you for the eleventh hour—the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

<snip>

As we come closer to the Lord’s second coming, you can expect that as the people of the world become more wicked, the prophet will be less popular with them.
False prophet Benson boasts about how faithful the new generation is compared to the previous one but has no idea just how faithless the up in coming Millennials will be and the bad babies to follow them! But the Second Coming is getting closer, generation after generation, century after century!

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. And it all began with Joseph Smith and the imminent Second Coming that was knocking on the very doors of the church. But it never happened. Nope. The Second Coming and many of Joe's other prophecies bit the dust. Joe was shot dead and most of the church eventually ran off and left the country to follow a monster, Brigham Young.

A trick from the troll!

There is no OR about it and Mormon Jesus is not coming back in 10 years.

I will continue to check the boxes [ ] year after year on this forum for the next ten years as promised in my opening post. If, I don't survive, someone else will take over and check the boxes for me by proxy. The work will go on!

Mormon Discussions rocks!

Dear friends,

I’m pasting several clips which I posted from a long thread up in the Celestial forum in order to strengthen my argument and afford me the relief of not having to reinvent the wheel here. If you are interested, perhaps you will find this post useful. It cancels the prophecy of the Second Coming :!:

Jesus is not coming.

Thank you.

Jesus has been dead and missing in action for 2,000 years and he is never coming back. The false prophecy of the Second Coming is nothing more than a pipe dream in Christian mythology. Another 2,000 years will have passed and Christ still will not have returned. The great lie has been proven false by time itself. Anyone is free to worship Jesus and praise him but they must confess that he has not publicly shown his face or manifested himself physically for 2,000 years. Christians to this day faithfully await his return even though on a legal basis, Jesus *is* still dead.

2 Peter 3:1-10

Peter wrote to Christian cult members at Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia. His message has nothing to do with me (Shulem), an enlightened man, living some 2,000 years in the future. Peter was speaking to Christian cult members of his time while barking new orders to *them*. Christ was said to soon come back and judge the world for “the day of Christ is at hand” (2 Thes 2:2). The Christians stood watch but nothing at hand happened. He did not come back for those were “soon shaken in mind” and nor did he return “quickly” as promised in the Book of Revelations.

Peter then continues to ramble on about how God made the world and how people fail to believe or accept the prophecy of the Second Coming of Christ and his quick return to earth. He notes how a day of fiery judgement is coming and “that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” He tells of how the day will come and that “The Lord is not slack (slow)” to keep that promise, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night.”

That day did not come and neither did it come in a thousand years after Peter’s false prophecy. The “day” (1,000 years) passed on and then another day (1,000 years) expired. And so here we are today, in 2026 and Christians are stuck waiting on the Lord’s day.

The prophecy failed.

So, was Peter living in the “last days” during these prophetic Christian announcements? YES!
1 Peter 1 wrote:2) Elect...
5) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice...
20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
So, the Christians who lived in the last times looked to salvation through Christ who would certainly come in the “last times” (last days) which was the era in which *they* lived. So, the last days was nearly 2,000 years ago during the times of the apostles!
1 Peter 4:7 wrote:But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
1 Peter 4:17 wrote:For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Imagine, if you will, 1st century Christians being told that Christ will not return for at least 2,000 years! Do you suppose they would be sorely disappointed and begin to question the letters written to them from the apostles?

St Peter and a small handful of Christians living during his lifetime may have been diligent but their faith was in vain because Christ failed to return according to the teachings of the Church. The early Christians made predictions about Christ coming soon because the day of the Lord was nigh at hand. Special thanks to bill4long for his contributions in demonstrating that the day of the Lord was soon at hand and how the cult’s prophecy failed miserably:
  • the day is upon us
  • very soon
  • the appointed time has grown very short
  • some who are standing here will not taste death
  • This generation shall not pass till
  • You will not finish
  • must very soon take place
  • I am coming very soon
  • it is the final hour
Christ never indicated that his Second Coming (return) would take place thousands (plural) of years after his death. Far from it! That is not the message of the Christian religion. Jesus’s prophecies were about events that were said to shortly occur during the generation at hand -- whereafter complete fulfillment was not thousands of years into the future but in the end times that were soon and near. Those buzzwords described the times in which every word of the prophecy would be fulfilled! The time in which *all* (not partial) things concerning Jesus’s prophecies was soon to be fulfilled:
Luke 21 wrote:6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
  • 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed...
  • 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
  • 24 ...Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
  • 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
  • 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew’s account assured the Christians that salvation was at hand and that all those things would be fulfilled, NOT thousands of years into the future!
Matt 24 wrote:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
  • 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days
  • 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
  • 32 ...summer is nigh:
  • 33 ...even at the doors.
  • 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Apologetic excuses for delaying the Second Coming are DOA!
Revelation 1:1 wrote:The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 22:6 wrote:And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
Now note how John’s prophecy leaves the end times behind and zooms far into the distant future:
Revelation 20:2,3 wrote:And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
QUESTION: Is there biblical precedent that lends believers to think that Christ’s coming would be thousands of years into the future?

ANSWER: No.

Truth be told, Christ and many of his disciples paid the ultimate price with their own lives for promoting a new religion that threatened unbelievers with death and destruction for failing to bend the knees to Christian dogma. The temple was razed to the ground in 70 AD around the time John produced the book of Revelation. His revelation/dream was a horrific narrative of vengeance and hatred against those who opposed Christianity, but in the end, Jesus failed to return and the prophecy of the Second Coming and end of the world proved false. Christianity was proven false and the cult collapsed under its own false prophecies.

Recall Jesus saying, “But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple” and on one occasion took it upon himself to clear the temple of moneychangers and afterward “the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them”, whereafter there were shouts of “Hosanna” to his goodness. The temple was a favorite hangout for Jesus in teaching his gospel message (Luke 21:37,38); later, after Christ died, the apostles spent their time “daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.” The point being, the temple was basically ground zero and the holiest place on earth for both Jesus and his disciples. Recall St Paul telling the Thessalonians about the imminent return of Jesus Christ and how the saints must have faith in the promise of “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”

THEN, in Paul’s next breath the saints are warned about the coming of the AntiChrist (2 Thes 2) and how he “sitteth in the temple of God.” This prophecy must take place prior to the Jerusalem temple being RAZED to the ground during the endtimes when Christ would return.

Again, Christian prophecies failed. Christ was supposed to return and overthrow the AntiChrist, but what we get is the temple being razed, Christians shown the door, and crazy (drug-induced?) prophecies of John the revelator spouting utter nonsense. And here we are, 2,000 years later, modern Christians and looney Mormons are oblivious to the false prophecies of Christianity because they have been brainwashed.
1 John 2:18 wrote:
  • Little children, it is the last time:
  • and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now
  • are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
No, it is NOT the last time. You are wrong. Christ is not coming back in your lifetime or during the lifetime of any AntiChrist of your era or hundreds or even thousands of years thereafter! Christ is dead, period.

The Christian cult will never see the fulfillment of false prophecies. The cult/church/religion (whatever) has been around a long time and ruled societies and peoples with an iron fist. Through the Dark Ages and other eras, the Christians caused a tremendous amount of horrific pain and suffering while wielding power and influence over nations. Looking back, it was horrible and thank God the biblical prophecies (Book of Revelation) are nothing more than the insane thoughts of a a man who was hell bent on getting revenge over the world. It is a demonic book! I am very grateful to have turned away from Christian dogma and live an authentic life of my own choosing without religion telling me what to do.

St. Paul was not speaking to people living 2,000 years into the future. The furthest thing from the minds of the apostles was 1,000 years AD, into the future when Satan would be unchained for a little season. Paul was concerned with his own times and the imminent fulfillment of the soon to be Second Coming of Christ and the end of the world:
  • 2 Thes 1:1 “Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians”
  • 2 Thes 1:2 “Grace unto you”
  • 2 Thes 1:6 “God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you”...
  • 2 Thes 1:7 “And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,”
Again, it could not be more clear that in the “last time” (last days), the very temple built by Israel that was graced by the presence of Jesus would one day be polluted by AntiChrist forces: “so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” At this juncture, the Second Coming was to be be realized! Israel would then be saved and Christ would reign supreme. Not so! The temple was razed forever and Israel was left without a Messiah and a temple to this very day, 2026 AD.

As far as Jesus was concerned, there was one temple (Matt 23:21), the one he personally attended, and there was a heavenly throne (Matt 23:22), the one his Father sat upon. Christ reminded the Jews of horrible things that had occurred in the past and speaking to the Jews he warned about more horrible things that were to take place in their times and the very near future and correctly predicted how the temple would again be torn down:
Matt 23:36 wrote:Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
Matt 24:2 wrote:And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Christ continued to prophesy (Matt 24) and predict how the end would take place (“but the end is not yet”) and that his followers would then know that he is “even at the doors” by which he encouraged the people to “endure unto the end” which would occur after the destruction of the temple. He told of great tribulations that would take place during that generation but “those days shall be shortened” in order for salvation to be realized. He specifically said that “This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.”

The future destruction of the Jerusalem temple is the key, the very one built and maintained by the authority of prophets of the Old Testament -- the building in which Zacharias was slain between the temple and the altar. That is the very temple in which St John indicated the AntiChrist would sit in which God would be mocked. Then Christ will come and everyone will see it!

That is the very temple in which St John indicated the AntiChrist would sit in which God would be mocked. Then Christ will come and everyone will see it!

Jesus was adamant in prophesying how everyone alive would see him come again in glory. St Paul assured the Thessalonians that the surviving Christians would rapture up into heaven with Jesus and St John envisioned those still living who crucified Christ would see him come in the clouds which echos what Christ said previously to the Jews that “Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man.”
Jesus wrote:
  • And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Matt 24:30)
  • Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. (Matt 26:64)
  • And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. (Matt 13:26)
  • And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. (Mark 14:62)
1 Thes 4:17 wrote:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Rev 1:7 wrote:Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Now recall the faith promoting fictitious conversation between resurrected Jesus and his competing apostles in which Peter questioned the Lord about John’s duration in the ministry, whereafter it is positively confirmed twice (John 21:22,23) that unlike Peter, John would live and continue to minister till the Second Coming:
Jesus wrote:If I will that he tarry till I come
This is proof that the apostles fully expected Christ to come during John’s life and that Peter need not compare himself or wonder about which of them is the greatest.

Jesus, in no uncertain terms, wrapped his prophecy into a single generation in which *ALL* the things leading up to his Second Coming would be fulfilled in one generation -- ONE. It leaves no room to add future generations and skip thousands of years into the future. The fulfillment of all those things were assigned to a single generation in the era in which they lived -- not thousands of years into the future. It comes down to simple math which does not require additional elements but is a Singular/Onement event and yet we see the Mormons reset the clock at year 1830 and are still waiting for their Jesus to this day.
Jesus wrote:
  • Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. (Matt 23:36)
  • Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matt 24:34)
  • Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. (Mark 13:30)
  • Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. (Luke 21:32)
The prophecy is specific and point blank. There is one (1), a singular horizon, in which *all* fulfillment was to occur. The destruction of the temple and the end of the age in which Christ would return was suppose to happen just like the sun rising and setting on a horizon, in a single generation. For example:
Matthew 23:35 Amplified Bible wrote:I assure you and most solemnly say to you, [the judgment for] all these things [these vile and murderous deeds] will come on this generation.
Matthew 23:35 Complete Jewish Bible wrote:Yes! I tell you that all this will fall on this generation!
Matthew 23:35 Contemporary English Version wrote:I can promise that you people living today will be punished for all these things!
Matthew 23:35 Easy-to-Read Version wrote:Believe me when I say that all these things will happen to you people who are living now.
Matthew 23:35 Easy English Bible wrote:Yes, I tell you this: God will punish the people who are alive today for all those murders.
Matthew 23:35 Expanded Bible wrote:I tell you the truth, all of these things will happen to you people who are living now
Matthew 23:35 GOD’S WORD Translation wrote:I can guarantee this truth: The people living now will be held accountable for all these things.
Matthew 23:35 Good News Translation wrote:I tell you indeed: the punishment for all these murders will fall on the people of this day!
Matthew 23:35 International Children’s Bible wrote:I tell you the truth. All of these things will happen to you people who are living now.
Matthew 23:35 International Standard Version wrote:I tell all of you with certainty, all these things will happen to those living today.
These sayings stand on their own merits and are very specific. Jesus was speaking of one uninterrupted timeline involving the destruction of the Temple and the end of the age! The timeline and events described by Jesus in Matthew 24 indicate the destruction of the temple AND the Second Coming was suppose to occur during the lifetime of those then living. He implied that one of the things that would occur in *that* generation is the gospel would be preached to all nations.
Matt 24:34 Amplified Bible wrote:I assure you and most solemnly say to you, this generation [the people living when these signs and events begin] will not pass away until all these things take place.
Matt 24:34 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition wrote:Truly I tell you, this generation (the whole multitude of people living at the same time, in a definite, given period) will not pass away till all these things taken together take place.
Jesus was speaking to living people during his day and time -- *that* generation. The Christians took their message all throughout Israel and then turned to the Gentiles including the lands of: Samaria, Syria, Asia Minor, Cyprus, Crete, Greece, Macedonia, Italy, Egypt, Mesopotamia, etc.
Matt10:23 wrote:Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
The Christians really believed that Christ would come again in their day (generation) because that was the original claim:
  • Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. (Mark 9:1)
  • So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: (1 Cor 1:7)
  • For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. (1 Cor 11:26)
  • For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? (1 Thes 2:19)
  • For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. (1 Thes 4:15)
  • And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thes 5:23)
  • When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. (2 Thes 1:10)
  • For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. (Heb 10:37)
  • Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. (James 5:7)
  • Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. (James 5:8)
  • And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. (1 John 2:28)
  • But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. (Rev 2:25)
  • Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. (Rev 3:3)
The Olivet Discourse given by Jesus outlined prophecies (including worldly judgement) that was soon to take place; chapter 25 continued the sermon and began with, “Then shall the kingdom...” Jesus continued to prophesy and said,
  • “Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.” (25:13)
  • “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:” 25:31
Jesus was very specific and exact in stating there were those then living who would not taste death prior to his soon-to-be return which was a planned event, not a teaching per se. The historical context of his return never happened as predicted and never will because it is far, far too late. Unborn peoples thousands of years into the future are not part of the prophecy no matter what anyone says. And the Mormons are completely duped and brainwashed.

Have you read N.T. Wright's views/research on this? If so, what do you think?

This is a Chapel Mormon doctrine, along with the doctrine that parents will raise their children who died before the age of 8 during the millennium. That's a real tight spot, as the longer this drags out and as billions continue to die young (in part due to Christian right-wing politics and the church hoarding its stash), there at some point will be a land shortage where unless you turn earth into Trantor instead of a sea of glass, there won't be enough space for all that to happen in 1000 years.

A long time ago, pre 2000 I think, there was a Hollywood movie about Armageddon and man, my memory is not good at all, but I'm going to guess that Christopher Watkins was in it, and the premise was that the hordes of hell would start taking over once "the guf" had emptied and the last soul was born.

MG
He's a Christian apologist who has been slapped silly by many. Why should I go with him and his ideas? James G. Crossly, for one, comes to mind who seriously challenges Wright's views on things. Dale C. Allison, Jr. is another powerhouse who shows Wright doesn't have the last word, nor the final best most reasoned and evidenced word in favor of his Christian "testimony."

Because he is a widely recognized and one of the world's leading, most rigorously peer reviewed New Testament historians?

Philo, you're a scholar and a gentleman. Would you be will to give us the names of some other New Testament scholars that agree with Wright in regard to his views concerning 1st century Jewish apocalypticism?

There were some, you know. ;)

They each believed that the text of the New Testament was pointing to the 1st century generation, and they were fulfilled precisely on schedule in 70 AD with the Roman destruction of the Jerusalem Temple.

Do you give these guys any credence?

Nope, I've not read Wright's work/opinion pieces. For the most part, my academic knowledge of the Bible stems from years and years of studying mostly the KJV of the Bible directly on my own terms using commentaries and helps. I am not a Bible expert. And, I am not a fool either like I once was. ;)

However, I am a Book of Abraham expert and have ascertained great knowledge on that subject by my own means without relying on people like Nibley and Gee to explain their apologetic nonsense. I don't need them to explain anything about the Egyptian composition published by Joseph Smith, Editor of Times and Seasons in 1842. I totally get the Book of Abraham as a world class expert! I'm sure you can appreciate that.

I hope that answers your question.

Thanks

:)

Testimony. Yep, that explains it. I'll bet his testimonkey isn't very favorable towards Mormonism and the so-called restoration!

So what.

And John Gee is one of the leading peer reviewed Book of Abraham historians which means absolutely NOTHING to me. I could do circles around him and I don't even have a PhD!

Really, who you gonna trust, Gee or me? I will always tell you the truth as I understand it. Gee will sell you snake oil and apologetic lies.

YOU know that to be so.
