President Donald Trump on Tuesday threatened to veto a major annual defense bill if Congress didn't strike down a federal law that shields social media companies like Facebook and Twitter from lawsuits over the content their users post.
Trump issued the ultimatum against Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act in a pair of tweets Tuesday evening that represent the latest escalation in the president's perceived notion that the Silicon Valley powerhouses are working to censor conservatives.
"Section 230, which is a liability shielding gift from the U.S. to 'Big Tech' (the only companies in America that have it - corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Election Integrity," Trump tweeted.
If "very dangerous & unfair Section 230 is not completely terminated as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)," Trump wrote in a tweet thread, "I will be forced to unequivocally VETO the Bill when sent to the very beautiful Resolute desk."
The threat comes as lawmakers are days away from finalizing the $740.5 billion annual authorization bill, which helps determine troop levels and new weapons systems, among other national defense decisions.

"We wanted to express our concerns to the President, to the legislators, courts and Congress that We the People will NOT cede our exclusive Constitutional right to elect our Representatives to judges, lawyers, courts, Governors, Secretary’s of State, Congress, corrupt election officials and local politicians, the corrupt media - or Leftist threats of violence! It is OUR EXCLUSIVE RIGHT to elect our President and that sacred right has been infringed by the massive, planned, illegal election fraud conducted by corrupt Democrat/Socialist Party operatives across our nation to steal our vote. We will NOT stand for it."
Their problem is believing it's THEIR exclusive right rather than that of ALL voting aged and eligible Americans. Like most of these claims, they want to see other voters disenfranchised because they don't like the result and don't realize claims of election fraud don't equal actual election fraud. A court that doesn't see massive, planned, illegal election fraud* in the "evidence" presented is upholding the Constitution when it shuts down the empty legal challenges that we've seen.
*what a dumb description, by the way. Oh, they think their own massive, planned attempt to invalidate the election is also legal, thus the qualifier? Got it.

Yeah, though it was a special council not a court. And the finding was the parties involved attempted to collude but were apparently too incompetent to actually do so.

Trump's campaign, including his own son, met with Russians because they were interested in getting dirt on Hillary. This is an established fact based on the email exchange and no amount of spinning or semantic gamesmanship about "collusion" is going to change that. What the Mueller report concluded is that "collusion" isn't a legal term so it wasn't even addressed. But that doesn't change the fact that collusion happened.
