https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/this- ... r-BB1bOGQfApostle Jeffrey R. Holland celebrated his 80th birthday last week. And, despite the pandemic, he did have reason to celebrate.
After all, back in June, he found himself in a hospital undergoing tests and treatments for ailments unrelated to COVID-19.
Now, the popular speaker is back on the job and at the pulpit, delivering sermons in regional meetings, General Conference and, most recently, the First Presidency Christmas Devotional.
All of this was made possible, Holland says, thanks to a “miraculous” recovery.
“All at once ... I had a number of health issues, but I’m doing fine,” Holland told Church News Editor Sarah Jane Weaver in a recent podcast reported at LDS Living. “And (for) some of these, the recovery has been really miraculous. I don’t use that word lightly. I don’t use it lightly at all. But that’s the only word I could use for the recovery I’ve had from some of these issues.”
The apostle said one of the doctors told him of a healing of one issue that “medically and scientifically, there was no explanation for the rather dramatic results.”
The physician said, “It doesn’t hurt to have several million people praying for you.”
“That was tender for me then, and it’s tender for me now,” Holland said in the podcast. “I know people pray for the Brethren. I hope they will all know that that’s appreciated and reciprocated, that we pray for the church.”

Dodo-Holland squawks
Oh how the Mormons love to act like miracles are all about them at every turn. What a show! What a production! What an act! How fake. It's all a joke from the pious Mormons who don't know the definition of a real miracle. Perhaps they've never read the Bible, I don't know. Do Mormons believe the Bible? I doubt it.
Too bad all the other 80 year olds that die due to physical complications didn't get *their* miracle because they weren't righteous enough, like super squawker Dodo-Holland. Only the righteous are entitled to a the "miracle" and then can brag about it in front of everyone else. What a joke.
Oh, and what if Dodo-Holland had died? That would have been a miracle too because Heavenly Father called him home. That's a miracle! And *that* miracle is just around corner -- coming soon! Dodo is stacking up his miracles like a collection of keepsakes.
But we all know that Dodo-Holland is eventually going to die because he's getting old and just take one look at him proves he's on death's door -- one foot on the other side. But the miracles will run out. Death will call for him. He can't escape. All he can do is think positive and claim miracles are keeping him alive.
Oh the miracles of Mormonism.
Oh, God, I can't believe I was ever a Mormon. Will someone please pinch me? Is this real?
Jesus.

Why is it about him? Why can't he pray and get other people healed?
Doctors want people to feel good. Obviously the doctor told him that so Holland would feel good and special.

I know he was pretty sick but my contacts with our favorite dodo bird won't say what it was, either. Mormon Jesus smiles on him, of that we can be sure.
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Because Dodo-Holland is like a used car salesman putting on a show trying to sell a junker.
How many of the 1,016 people who have so far died from Covid in Utah were given healing blessings before croaking?
How many of the 1,136 in Idaho were blessed by the fabulous Melchizecrap priesthood before gasping for their last breath?
What a joke. Mormons have no special powers. It's a conman church.

The physician didn’t say it helped though, now did he...The physician said, “It doesn’t hurt to have several million people praying for you.”

The dynamics of belief include surrounding oneself with like minded individuals and feeding off of one another. It’s interesting to observe that this is something that occurs among believers and those who doubt.

Yes, it's a conman church. Priesthood blessings are complete nonsense and don't work any better than the useless prayers given. But they have amazing real estate and the Fund keeps growing .... soooooo ....Shulem wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 4:09 pmdastardly stem wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 3:50 pmWhy is it about him?
