It has been in the last couple of weeks that I changed my ISP and have been able to even view the MAD board, I was banned, blocked and banished on the purge of Nov 5 last year. I have out of curiosity viewed several threads over there. The wrong-headed-wench is still going strong and I have no desire to post there and my recent visits really confirms why.
I have followed your discourse in a couple of threads in the last couple of days. Mainly the horse bones, and why people leave the church threads. You have had some good exchanges with the apologists and also with mms. I think your tone has changed. I think you are killing them with kindness and reasonableness. I think they expect you to come unglued and when you don't they don't know what to do with you. I think your exchanges with mms on the "why they leave" thread is something they are not used to.
Anyway just my observation from the spud field. I enjoy your posts, keep killing them with kindness.
I am wondering if mms is getting the same treatment from them. He/She seems to have the same demeanor as you do.

It could be. I'd say it's more like loathing, despising, and hatred. LOL.
The way they have constructed moderating over there, it's never really possible to know. And what's interesting about that is that a poster like you can stop posting as much or at all, and other posters will never know why. They'll just think you got busy or lost interest. They have no idea how many critics have been restricted or banned without the slightest justification.
That's true. Hardly anyone knew I had been banned.
Oh, well. It's their board, and they can be as weird as they want about it.

I've been reading your recent posts over there, and you seem to be bending over backwards to be as polite as possible. That is, even more than the usual amount of back-bending critics have to do on that board. I can't imagine any excuse they could have to ban you, but as we've seen, they don't really need one.

Yeah. I think I just got carried away with too many posts, and we can't have that. by the way, love The Shins. I do suspect that my time there will be short. Anything remotely construed as inappropriate will do.
