Are you saying this because you watch his show and consider him stupid, or just because you don't like his opinions (and don't watch his show)? I'm genuinely curious.

I think Bill Mahr's pretty sharp, personally. I think he's smarter than he is funny, anyway. I certainly don't agree with everything he says, but he's not dumb.

Intellectually Mahr is not dumb. I have seen his show. He is funny, witty and much to full of himself. Maybe dumb is the wrong word. But he sure takes some stupid positions.

But yet the self important pompous asses you listen to in GC every 6 monts are not full of themselves. Riiiiight.

Tom Cruise is just more vocal than mitt about his religion. The unending drone of "bigotry" from those who are crying over romneys sorry-ass campaign is getting tired.

Bill Mahr and I agree. I can have a religious test for a candidate. It seems as if the Mormons want to use the "persecution" card to explain Romney's loss when they should be looking at the religion being a valid reason for the loss.

Its time for Mormons to see how others perceive them instead of believing that they are normal. For those who actually do this hopefully the critical look at their faith will give them a wake up call.

Romney lost, I believe, because he was Mormon. This situation is a GOOD thing.

Unless you can prove that his religion impaired his abilty to lead then to not vote from him due to his religion in bigotry. by the way, I do not think he failed because of his Mormonism. It may have been a small factor but he seemed to do well anyway. Sure Huckabee got some of the EV vote that maybe Romney would have got. So EVs voted for their guy. Mormons voted for their guy as well. As for Mormons being normal, well if all my colleagues think I am odd they do it behind my back. I think most don't really give it much thought nor do they care a lot about what Mormonism believes. The Mormon Church is as valid as a religion and denomination as any other in the US. You are simply wrong on this.

I like Bill Mahr. And I do agree that the Mormon church is just as valid as christianity and all the other religions in the US, but I would go even further and include all religions in the world. They are all equally valid. Of course this goes against the LDS doctrine of the one true church/worldwide apostacy/need for a restoration, etc. In reality the LDS church is just like every other religion in the world.
