I had a friend whose PB said he would live on the earth to the day that Christ returned.

He died four years ago from cancer.

His last year of life was HELL because he subjected himself and his young family to a new radical "experimental" treatment.

Before he consented, he told me he had to, based on his PB.

I'd let of a string of well deserved verbal punctuation for LDS Inc and its witchcraft fortune telling BS PB program, but I want my comment to stay here.

I was told they are cutting back patriacal down. I think is is to reduce attention for being overly crazy. My PB says Jesus will hug me and I will be here in the second coming (not in those words).

No worries. Growing pains and all that jazz.

There was a rather substantial portion from mine that wasn’t transcribed. Both I and my parents (but more-so them) remember what was said, so I’ve often wondered why it was omitted (other than the fact that it wasn’t exactly “rosy”).

----------------------

Mine is in chronological order (I don’t know if that’s standard-fare). After it goes through my “teenage years,” it states that I was to serve a full-time mission, then get a little schoolin’ under my belt, followed by marriage, etc., etc., etc…

When my mission papers were denied, it was one helluva blow. One that I’m still trying to grow up and get over. No one likes rejection, and for some reason it has a peculiar sting when said rejection comes from on high.

I don't know about that, but the ladies of Galactica sure did.

Edit:

I wrote some stuff, but having read my patriarchal blessing for the first time in a while (which is now only the third time I have read it in 2.5 years), I decided I'd rather keep it to myself. I tend to forget whats in there. I should read it more often.

If I recall correctly, John W/Runtu did a thread both here and on MA&D a while back on boilerplate PBs

Oh! What insightful advice!

Today is great for focusing on health -- in a positive way. Go to the doctor if you must, but you should also try to eat an extra apple or walk an extra mile or whatever else seems appealing.

I shall do whatever seems appealing, no doubt! I shall also indulge in a banana or two!
