by the way, the latter part of Seth's blog(the one who donated the money to beat up gay marriages) claims that the after he dropped his prop 8 check in the mail, his realtor called to tell him that he got the house(on short sale) that he and his wife wanted! What a BLESSING!!(puke)

This morning we dropped the check into the mailbox and not an hour later our realtor called to say we got the house.

I think this whole campaign by my church is a bad idea. I think the way funds are being solicited in California is sketchy. And I really hate the idea of contributing a a single dime to Church’s who, when they aren’t fighting homosexuals, are publishing hate tracts on Joseph Smith. Apparently somebody started publicizing our blog in certain quarters, and we’ve had a sudden inflow of commenters whom we’ve never seen before until this post. It’s like some agenda-based message board posted David’s post and invited everyone to mosey on over Nine Moons and “give em what for.”

It was an amazing testiimony of obedience and proving the Lord. It was a request we didn’t like and a gesture that wasn’t easy to perform. And yet, by not tarrying we were quickly blessed with the very thing we needed and longed for.

I am 110% sure he would have still received the call on the house regardless of if or when he paid his prop 8 check. What a tool.

What evidence do you give for you pov besides your own testimony? Besides my own testimony, I have all the witnesses of the scriptures and the prophets.

You don't understand what a scientific test is. One needs controls for confirmation bias, doulble blind proceedures where possible and lot and lots of robust statistics. Anectdote or a personal experience does not constitute a scientific test.

For example, I bet you would not take into account my story would you.
I was more financially blessed by not pay money to the church (or any other such faith based scam). It was about 10%.

Never heard of him till now. by the way, you should know by now that I subscribe to Evolution, Big Bang, and String theory as generally agreed upon by most scientists (well, there isn't as much agreement in String theory yet....) and don't see any conflict between them and LDS doctrine.
