Which, of course, explains the peculiar phenomenon of ex-Mormon opposition to breathing.

Or we could take the Mormo-glasses off and realize that if there isn't a quorum of morally-pretentious, fearmongering white guys telling us otherwise, there isn't very good reason to oppose gay marriage.

Likewise for porn or any other social issue that that the LDS church opposes. When on an exmo board, if one takes a stance that the LDS church favors, a woolf pack syndrome occurs where exmos begin to gang up on that poor soul who agrees with the LDS church, especially if this poor soul had agreed before with the LDS on some social issue.
I'm not sure that porn is justified, actually; there are feminist arguments against it that give me pause. I haven't viewed porn in over ten years, although that's probably partly because I've been engaging in premarital sex for some of that time, heh.

As such, exmos are usually lacking in critical thinking skills and they forsake their objectivity as they enter exmoland on the Internet.

Ah, another condescending lecture about "critical thinking skills" from someone who wouldn't know logic if it bit him on the ass.

It's like Droopy never left.

In the meantime, please take the opportunity of my absence to discuss the deeper ramifications of masturbation, polygamy, polyandry, Fanny Alger, torture, waterboarding, masturbating while being waterboarded, the Mormon gulag, Gay marriage, Gay masturbation, Gay torture, Tattoos, earrings, Prop 8, the September 6, The MMM, the SCMC, the KEP, and all things generally liberal, left wing, and CNNish.

And please see to it that all such discussions are of a philosophically deep, rich, nuanced, rigorous, and profound nature.

I'm sure you will.

Head on over to exmo boards and begin to stress your position and see what happens. Here you are well known and will survive. Go to other sites and post that you are a member of the LDS church but inactive and state your position. Make sure that you mention that the LDS church is correct in that principle and see how many allies you have. Do not criticize the LDS church for any reason but stick to your position. You will not last long....

Ah! Then you agree that MDB is not an exmo board (since you just told me to head on over to exmo boards). I've been to RfM in the distant past and found it an interesting place with very weird moderation.

And whyme? I'm not inactive. I'm a TR carrying, calling holding, church attending (when I feel like it) church member.

It's curious that you mentioned masterbation first. The top your list!

Every time the ants crawl into your pants you squeal and run. Have you ever paused to ask yourself, "for what purpose?"

You're a destroyer, not a builder. Why don't you do something nice and bring a pie next time.

Loran,

You frustrate me, irritate and annoy me sometimes. Okay, you do it alot. But still, I like you. You bring your own unique perspective and approach (no matter how entirely wrong you are :-) to the board and I look forward to your return. I think I understand the origin of what others are calling cyclical behavior and understand the reasons for your lyrics. Having said that, you are to be valued if for no other reason but for the fact that you supply the friction that is needed to keep this place from becoming one huge back patting and head nodding session. I can always reload LSD if that will serve to entertain you enough to keep you around. ;-)

You are well known here and so, no one will gang up on you. But over on other exmo boards, you will experience a hard time. Of course, you have enough negatives toward the Mormon church to placate them. And so, you may survive.
However, I am sure that at church you are a church mouse...rather quiet about your feelings and attitude toward Joseph Smith and the current leadership.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.

I suspect Loran's interest stems from most sexual items being both stimulating and naughty.

What was said wasn't nearly as funny as who said it.

Thanks. I can always use a good laugh.
