It should also be rather obvious that, even thought the Democrats removed the individual mandates and penalties at the last moment before passage, there is no reason to believe that they will not soon return to the bill and reinstate them.

The bill has been passed, is now law, and can be amended as they will. The very fact that the mandates and penalties were there (and still may be in some form, we still don't know what's actually in most of the bill) in the first place indicates the real motives and desires of these despots, and the needs of public consumption do not alter those motives.
