FAIR and the Maxwell Institute are totally separate things, and neither of them are located in the COB. The Maxwell Institute, for example, is on the BYU campus in Provo.

actually the fp hangs out in an older building that is only about 4 or 5 stories high that is just immediately south of the "ivory tower"

The two buildings are connected via underground parking. Also, for many years before the ivory tower was even built, the old building had (and continues to have) an underground walking tunnel that connects to the SLC Temple.

google maps street view is cool ... see if this works, look at the little old white building across the fountain court yard.

I see that link did not work very well. Just type in "LDS Church Office Building" and select one of these

zoom in on the N State Steet and W. South Temple streets ... you can pull right on up to the front door where TMS and the bros's hang out.

I think you should just get your butt out here to see for youself. I'll send you on a one day tour of temple square and then introduce you to where I'm pretty sure god is currently hanging out, which is up American Fork Canyon in Mary Elen Gultch, only excessible via the quads or the jeep.

Looking at those winter photos - my jeep is sitting about 3/4's of the way up "Mary Elen Bowl"



There is a huge mine that you can still go in about 50 yards up from the rock slide of the switch backed road.
