Yikes! I do think Romney has flipped flopped on some issues like abortion but who among the current candidates hasn't flip flopped on something (with exception of Ron Paul)? The commentary on Later Day Saints seems way over the top though. I'm so sorry Mormons still have to deal with this sort of thing. He certainly is a strong candidate with an admirable track record as governor and in business. I hope people vote for or against him based on his platform and record only. I like to think we are all becoming more enlightened but I fear I am a bit naïve at times.
I do believe Romney will be against abortion and gay marriage and help to destroy Obamacare among other things no matter what his past record was. Positions as stated, he's far more preferable to any of the other GOP candidates including Paul though not as perfect a conservative as the nation would want.
Some of that rests on who is better able to beat Obama in the election. I don't think the other candidates have a chance.
