The Book of Mormon has nothing to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was alive while the supposed golden plates were buried in the ground. Jesus Christ was alive while the supposed book of Abraham was stuffed into the entrails of a mummy. The teachings of Jesus Christ, who was God in man, has absolutely nothing to do with Mormon doctrine.
2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. 2 Tim 4:4 They will turn their ears away from the truth & turn aside to myths

Okay.
just me wrote:Something I have wondered is how the Bible (or Book of Mormon) would be different if written by satan.
See Moroni 7.
just me wrote:Or even, how would satan be different than elohim/jehovah/Old Testament god?
See Moroni 7.
just me wrote:Actually, since satan is the god of this world, maybe he is jehovah or elohim or whatever name ya wanna give it.
See Moroni 7.
I did. See my additional questions above your post.

Please show me what an "evil man" looks like. I highly doubt that people are all "evil" or all "good." But you are free to show me how I am wrong.
Also, what is "good?" God can only inspire to do good??? Really? What do you call the systematic genocide allegedly carried out by Moses and company? Is genocide "good?"
The Spirit of Christ is given to every man to know good from evil. Ok. What are those evils that everyone who has ever been born to this world naturally knows? Because all I see here is a slippery slope to judging past cultures by modern values and norms.
I also see that this passage promises "perfect knowledge" to people. Can you tell me who on this earth has a perfect knowledge of what is from God?
You take a simplistic view. Was Christopher Columbus a murderer? A genocidal imperialist? Some really think so. Have you read his journals?
By the above, you're going to implicate almost all of Western Civilisation and its Imperialism, and its "genocide" of various natives. Do you have American settler ancestry? Anyone here? Were your ancestors genocidists?

Are all Jews descendants of a genocidal killer?
Actually, I am pointing out that your scripture reference is taking a very simplistic view of things. It's almost like you didn't read my post other than the part that referenced genocide. Hmmm.
What does an "evil man" appear as? What are his qualities? the very first verse you cite tells us that an "evil man" cannot do "good."
I would like to know what that means. Do you know what it means?

This is silly, everyone knows he wrote the Quran. Why would he bother with the Book of Mormon after a success like that?
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."
Mein Kampf doesn't quote compare with the Book of Mormon, though.
How does this help me understand Moroni 7 or put it in action in my life?
What is doing evil and what is doing good?
