Where does God tell us charity begins?

Incidentally, Lynn Robbins is a multi-millionaire and co-founder of Franklin Covey. He recently purchased one of the new apartment condos across from Temple Square for over a million bucks. It is so easy for him to tell the destitute what they can do with their money. It is like Marie Antoinette saying "let them eat cake."
Lynn Robbins is just another of the parasites, robbing the faithful and telling them they should be grateful for it.

It is so repulsive and morally corrupt that there should be consequences for spewing crap like this.

One of the consequences of spewing crap like this is promotion.
You will find Lynn started spewing crap like this when he was a Bishop. This will have been duly noted by the powers that be and he will have moved up the ranks commensurate with amount of crap being spewed and the passion with which he spewed it.

Yeah, the consequences I had in mind were a little bit different. ;)

It makes me think of the parable of Lazarus the beggar in the New Testament.
If I could just know some specific things that people will be blessed with for enduring the disparity of this life, something that would make it fair, I'd be content. But as of yet, I've seen nothing very specific that we can even hope for that would add up to fairness.
As Nietzche said, "Give me a why, and I can overcome any how."
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

The Prophet Hinckley pitched up in New Orleans in the immediate aftermath of Katrina. What was the first thing he told them to do? That's right, ''pay your tithing''.
Can you imagine the uproar if Bush visited Katrina and told everyone to make sure they file their taxes.

Couple in early 30's with I believe 3 or 4 kids. The husband is a contractor to a govt agency so he earns maybe 70 grand a year. Wife is a stay at home mom and student because child care would be over what she could earn. She is studying to be a healthcare worker. Anyways, they live in DC, roughly in the same area we live. They pay 2,0200 in rent. Take home roughly 4 grand after taxes, deductions (small retirement fund, health insurance, dental, etc). They are also forced to pay roughly 15 percent of their income to student loans (70 grand). The private student loan companies have been especially ruthless to them (this is how I learned of their situation when they asked for help).
So basically they operated maybe 50 to 100 big buckaroos over the red each month. Guess who keeps knocking for their dollars? You must pay the 10% to be able to have the same rights as others, such as temple rec, etc. even if you go bankrupt doing so and cannot provide for the family...
It is an absolute BS system. Luckily, the hotel family (not going to name this famous LDS family) and others are so damn righteous and able to pay tithe on millions of inheritance thus they take on the highly sought after roles in the Church.
As I write this I realized I forget to tell the struggling family they must have done something bad in the pre-existence or at the very least they were fence sitters.
$70k/year may sound like a good living, but living in D.C. that truly is barely getting by.
