What scandal? They are only operating e-classified ads for the public, they are helping the public exercise their constitutional right that guarantees us the right to wear short sleeved shirts.
Yup. Jesus is really happy selling guns. It is quite proper for a church to carry out absolutely any activity that an individual is legally able to perform.
For instance, if there are plans afoot for the CoJCoLDS to open a brothel in Nevada, only rabid anti-Mormons would think of raising an eyebrow. Jesus is fine so long as it is legal and makes money.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
What a misleading headline. It makes it sound like the church is part of some gun running operation. What a disappointment to read that the connection is the church owns a news station, that has a website, which has classified ads where private citizens sell things to each other, including guns. So the scandal here is the owners of ksl are careless in monitoring the sales on their classified ads. That's the scandal?

Someone prove that the LDS Church owns The Silk Road and you're opinion of them will definitely get *higher*.
Whatever appears to be against the Book of Mormon is going to be overturned at some time in the future. So we can be pretty open minded.-charity 3/7/07
MASH quotes I peeked in the back [of the Bible] Frank, the Devil did it. I avoid church religiously. This isn't one of my sermons, I expect you to listen.

I too thought that this article was a piece of fluff designed to generate web hits. With this, as in many, many things, the government needs to butt out of the personal lives of people and let them exercise their liberties. For the record, I would apply this to several areas of life in addition to gun ownership, including gay marriage and pot smoking.
