In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.

Isn't art even easier to explain than science? By orders of magnitude, even?
then it should be easy for you to explain art. Go ahead.

What a brilliant new apologetic...
You seem to understand this apologetic as well as all the others. Yes, you've got it correct. God exists because people can paint... how, what's your critique of that?

You don't answer questions, so you don't get questions answered.

You didn't ask me a question. (But I asked you one)

Sorry Hoops, I have asked (and lots of other posters ask) lots of questions on lots of threads that you just ignore and avoid. When you build up a track record for two sided discussion I will answer questions you ask me.
Until then...

Total B.S. But it's expected B.S., so if it works for you, good.

Hoops, glad you have decided to mellow out on your fundamentalist apologetics.

Hmmm....I don't know what you mean. I have not retreated from anything I've thought in the recent past. I am seriously at a loss, but, I suspect, what I think about stuff is hardly important to much of anything. Unless you have a kid who wants to be a basketball player, then you had better take what I say as the gold standard of basketball apologetics.
