I would appreciate any advice on good segments to include. I'm working on one right now called "Babylonian Submarines."
My idea is to keep as close as possible to things that Romney very likely believes. As I mentioned in the linked article above, I have talked to a number of Romney's friends who tell me that he is a true believer (at least from his Boston days). That has to imply at least a certain set of beliefs, and I want to explore those in future posts.
TIA.
This is a great idea. I hope that you will keep your pieces very accurate and somewhat understated.
I hope that you will not shy away from concentrating on falsifiable (and falsified) beliefs. It is the stuff Mormons believe that is demonstrably not true that really shows their thought processes for what they are. And what they are is magical thinking. We certainly do not need another magical thinker like "mission accomplished" GWB as president.
What a True Believing Mormon truly believes is exactly what should disqualify them from being President.
That is the goal. If you have any ideas or any comments or criticisms on subsequent posts, I would greatly appreciate it.
What I want to avoid is the knee-jerk response by believers that "I am a believer and don't subscribe to that, so Romney probably doesn't either."
I think the Book of Mormon, the Book of Abraham, and the Temple, will provide some of the best fodder for discussion.
