Constructing temples, chapels, and other buildings.
Providing operating funds for the Church.
Funding the missionary program (This does not include individual missionary expenses.)
Preparing materials used in Church classes and organizations.
Temple work, family history, and many other important Church functions.
Education.
How can Heavenly Father continue his work on the earth without those items mentioned above? How does feeding the poor help God build a church (kingdom) on the earth? Frankly, it doesn't help Heavenly Father, and He knows it. Likely, the fear of His kingdom failing keeps him up at night, especially now that rival gods are beginning to pose a threat to his position.
I don't think the Lord needs temples, chapels and other buildings - do you?
I don't think the Lord needs a Church - do you?
I don't think the Lord needs Church classes and organizations and employees - do you?
I don't think the Lord needs temple work, family history, and what other important Church functions should there be but taking care of people?!?
And the best education one can get is in the love, care, and concern of taking care of another.
What you are describing are things men need, but not God and not those who follow God. In fact, they distract and take away from the work those that follow God should be doing - taking care of, showing concern for, and loving and helping one another.
You are welcome to believe whatever you'd like, but the Mormon Church is a self-serving MAN-MADE organzation. None of these things are of God.
