Is there anything in writing, say an e-mail, sworn affidavit, or a court transcript where the accused made the statement being levied at him?

Not that I know of. The question raised as why he has not been sued for slander brings up an interesting point. Maybe it is in the works?

Just saw this on Ron Kerran Facebook. Apparently there is some traction for community support.

2/21/2016 Update:
Victims: Thank you for your stories! We are receiving feedback from victims in several countries around the world. As I have stated time and time again: This is a community problem, it will require a community resolution; and those who have the most relevance at the table are the victims. Please do not take my silence or long response times to any of you as my disinterest in your story. Every story is crucial. Every testimony will be crucial for moving this forward. This is not just an LDS issue: ALL victims need to band together into a community in order to bring about community resolutions: REGARDLESS OF THE NAYSAYERS AND CRITICS. They (along with the fence sitters) will soon be exposed for their complicity with the pro-status quo, pro-pedophile, anti-victim forces.
Many of you have waited for decades to tell your stories, which has seemed like an eternity. My family’s has only been doing this for a decade (which, itself, seems like an eternity), but it’s moving forward. Allow me to stay focused for another few weeks. I will eventually be in contact with all who have contacted me and offered your assistance. We have some preliminary idea and plans: We need yours. Thank you.

As I think is clear from the description of the situation in earlier posts, the statement that the little girls 'had been promiscuous with him' was made in a telephone call to their mother, who has If I recall correctly confirmed her previous accounts in a recorded conversation of which there is a notarized transcript. Mickelson has apparently made no relevant statement to confirm or deny this.

Clearly his having made that statement would not be a matter carrying criminal responsibility of any kind, even if he admitted having made it, or had been recorded as having made it. It would just be rather weird (a "promiscuous" 6 year old girl, hello?), or at most grounds for an action for slander.

The claim being made by the father seems to amount to saying that this statement was made as part of an attempted victim-blaming tactic by Mickelson to cover up a real abuse situation for which Mickelson is claimed to have been responsible. Clearly the father will need to produce evidence establishing much more than that the statement was made - and presumably his daughter's witness testimony would have to play a major role in that.

Whether he will be able to do that remains to be seen. It would be premature either to dismiss the father's claims as groundless, or to treat them as if they had been proved.

The problem, as I see it, with a notarized transcript is it can be doctored and virtually anyone can have virtually anything notarized. That in of itself doesn't lend the transcript any legitimacy (and maybe I'm missing it but I can't seem to find it anywhere). What Mr. Kerran needs to do is post the recorded conversation online so any and all doubt is removed, otherwise it's still a he said/she said/he said situation.

This statement by Mr. Kerran is also troubling:

They (along with the fence sitters) will soon be exposed for their complicity with the pro-status quo, pro-pedophile, anti-victim forces.

It's tantamount to saying, "Believe my claims or you love pedophilia." That's typical speech for someone who wants to shut down dissent or those who would ask for something more than his accusations.

So, now we have a guy who is willing to use blackmail to get his way also stating if you don't believe his claims you're pro-pedophilia. I don't know. Something isn't passing the sniff test with this one. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

It's not really us he has to convince, is it? His aim is, so far as I can see, to draw attention to his claims prior to getting them examined in a judicial or quasi-judicial way, when he will indeed have to get things evidenced to the maximum extent he can.

I don't know how you get 'blackmail' out of this. Is he threatening to reveal something shameful that he knows about any person who disbelieves him? He is simply claiming that he will be proved right one day, and then people who suggested he was a liar or crazy will feel ashamed of themselves. That is a statement that could be perfectly consistent with a man who is speaking the truth but has had the experience of being told that he is an insane person and a malevolent hate-filled liar (which appears to be what supporters of Mickelson have been saying about him.)

Nor do I. And yes, that's just what we will have to do. He could be a crazed and hate-filled fantasist. Or he could be a loving parent driven to the edge of endurance and beyond by what happened to his daughter, and the way that Mickelson and his supporters have tried to transfer blame from the perpetrator to the victim and her family - if that is what has happened.

So we wait and see.

Let me clarify that he himself outright posted proof that he blackmailed his wife and his wife's lawyer (and still tried to “F” the lawyer over, anyway). What I'm getting is his credibility is not very good right now. Couple that behavior along with accusing people who are skeptical of his claims as 'pro-pedophilia' doesn't bode well for him. If he has proof other than him just saying so then he really needs to show it.

Nevertheless, this is all very interesting.

Oh this is good to hear. I sent him some evidence to his private e-mail on one of his critics credibility and integrity, and shared a personal experience of my own to which he hasn't contacted me back. This explains why. I support him, and I understand how difficult it is to bring up molestation charges to deal with them either no matter the length of time that's passed.

He's dealing with it in his own way, according to his time constraints.

No he didn't say that at all. What he said was his wife and her lawyer were suborning perjury for the courts and the judges in the divorce and custody case. He went to the lawyer with his proof and she cut a deal with him. She let him have the children rather than let him drag her through the mud.

If you know anything about divorce attorneys they are the dirtiest scummiest thing since sleazy politicians.

She capitulated to his demands rather than face a suspension or disbarment. That was tactical on his part, and is what won him custody of his children - she was the one who was caught with committing perjury.

The guy acted swiftly and did what any thinking parent would've done under the same circumstances given the tainted court system he was dealing with - the cronyism that goes on between the judges, lawyers, and in Utah the Mormon factor. Nor did his wife put up any fight at that point. She let him have the children. Her father was paying for her divorce attorney, and yet she buckled. That speaks for itself she knew they were up to some shady practices.

I have to say that if we are to talk about credibility, then the mother's failure to contest the husband's claim for custody of the children in a state where a Mormon mother is (is she not?) very, very likely to be awarded custody if she seeks it, looks to me like a great, big, flashing buzzing "WTF"?.

It's very strange, whatever else it is.
