We'll never be able to abolish the Electoral college, but there is a way to make it irrelevant.

I think the real question you need to ask yourself is why did Russia want Trump in the White House?

http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/27/technol ... index.html

Russian-linked automated Twitter accounts, or bots, retweeted Donald Trump almost half a million times in the final weeks before the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, Twitter told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

The 50,000 automated accounts the company determined had ties to Russia sent more than 2 million election-related tweets between September 1 and November 15, 2016.

Once you concede the fact Russia wanted Trump in the White House it's pretty much turtles all the way down. I've posted this before but it's worth a read if you haven't done so yet:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundatio ... eopolitics

If you read the entirety of the wiki article (and do a bit of research) you'll see they're pretty much following like a playbook.

This should cause you significant concern not only tactically, but strategically when it comes to geopolitics, population pressures, and resources.

Saldvador Allende and Mohammed Mosaddegh, two name two. Mohammed Mosaddegh we replaced with the Shah and Allende was overthrown by Pinochet. During the cold war, especially when Allen and John Foster Dulles were running the CIA and the State Department, there was a lot of action in opposition to worldwide communism. Anyone who has socialist leaning could be considered a fair target for a coup.

Yeah, we literally trolled the Iranian people just like the Russians trolled us. The only difference, of course, is our trolling cost the Iranians around 30,000 lives. It was absolutely disgusting what we did to them. And I believe this one was actually over oil, too.

Living in a country that's messed with other countries doesn't prevent one from thinking it's wrong and being especially pissed when it happens to us and we end up with a cheeto dictator.

How else do we change that without making it a big deal?

No, that doesn't prevent people from being stupid, but it should. Thinking it's wrong only when it "happens to me" is why you ignorant on the topic.

You won't be able to change anything, because you are the problem. Your ignorance is an obstacle to maturity and why you insist that Trump be scapegoats to ease your conscience for suddenly being exposed as a blissful idiot on the workings of your own government.

It is possible to believe both are a big deal.
