Socialism for the rich. I am no economist but I would like some conservative tell how your country is going to deal with its debt. It is currently 19.9 trillion and projected to be 33 Trillion in 2028. GDP now is 19 Trillion and in 2028 will be 29 Trillion. Will they raid social security and medicaid.?

It would appear Majax doesn't give a crap about the Supreme Court picks or Roe v. Wade. He's in it for the racism.
He's a card-carrying member of the new cult.

I certainly wouldn't miss social security if we were by some chance able to finally rid ourselves of it.

It's economic nationalism. The trade war will provide a long term benefit to all American citizens. We just need to help the farmers through a difficult period.
Economic Nationalism is National Socialism. It's the opposite of a free market economy.
Even Fox has an opinion piece entitled: Trump's trade war is economic suicide.

True, true. It is never the honorable man who abandons the woman.

That is the Republican's current plan, although there is a push to turn it all over to Putin and let him deal with it.

Those are only slightly different flavors of the same plan.

Free trade expands economic growth and benefits everyone in aggregate with specific people in specific sectors getting hurt. Libertarians like myself like to let that play out in order to appease the gods of ruthless efficiency. Liberal free traders think that the government should provide programs (you could call them socialist) to soften the blow for the people who were hurt such as job training programs for people who lose work in fields that are out-competed internationally.
The "trade war" we are talking about shrinks economic growth generally with some specific people in specific sectors reaping a benefit while others are hurt. Trump proposes straight up redistributionist socialism to bail out those people hurt if they happen to be a key demographic in electoral battlegrounds, which is the worst of both worlds.
This is such a mainstream view in economics that this is why Trump can only hire absolutely crackpots and charlatans to defend his position he seems to barely understand himself. There was a time when Republicanism could at least claim the mantle of standing for economic literacy, but that's long since past, and now we're into fantasy land.
