Uh, yo, could you summarize for us? No one wants to watch a boring video.
Then you don't need the information lazy learner.
No, not lazy. Busy, and unwilling to spend my time on the strength of a promise by some guy who makes a video.

A text is a much more time-efficient way of conveying facts and argument. I resent having to watch people hamming it up for half an hour or so because they find it more fun to ramble on in front of a camera than to set out their ideas clearly and concisely in a piece of writing that could have conveyed the same content perfectly clearly, but which could have been scanned in a few minutes.

What is more, unlike watching a video, a text allows you to look back quickly at earlier parts of the exposition, to remind yourself of points made already or to check whether the writer is consistent.

PS: I'd like to make it clear that the videos produced by Philo Sofee are of a superior kind with a rather high entertainment value; one might choose to watch them as one might watch a TV programme on an interesting topic. But if the presentation of information and argument is the sole criterion, print always wins out for me.

That ^.

For practical tasks a well-made how-to video can be great, because seeing the faucet you’re trying to repair, or whatever, really helps. For abstract ideas, though, it’s really hard to make a video in which the sound and visual are pulling informational weight. Too often the video medium is just an excuse for a lot of padding.

That was a good video by Tabor. I have watched several of his vids this last few weeks. It's a good warm up to the New Testament this year...
Yeah, he's got some interesting stuff.
