For me on this early Sunday Morning, Apple Safari quickly loads the site on my iMac. Last night, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome halted it on an older Windows 11 laptop with an older i7 chip.

I overrode the warning on Safari, and now I can log in without getting the warning. If I use Chrome, I still get the warning.yellowstone123 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 11:03 amFor me on this early Sunday Morning, Apple Safari quickly loads the site on my iMac. The easiest way to check the certificate is to click the lock shown in the search bar of your browser.

It's incredibly annoying to constantly be shown the warning on Chrome, I'm not surprised it's keeping people from posting. iPhone doesn't have the issue after bypassing the warning once it's not shown again.
Hopefully Shades fixes this soon.

Thank you, Rep Ipsa. Safari is an interesting browser for me. Since I’m an Apple ecosystem person, that’s kind of what I use, but if I go to Facebook and check messenger, I forget that it says the browser is not supported so I go back to the site via Chrome.Res Ipsa wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 11:52 pmI overrode the warning on Safari, and now I can log in without getting the warning. Reliable sources tell me that a new certificate has been purchased. Fingers crossed that this will resolve by the end of the day.

Re: Security certificate has expired n/t
It is possible to change the settings on an individual certificate to "always trust," but the effect of overriding the warning in Safari is new to me. The last time I had to deal with certificate issues, I had to access the certificate and manually change to "always trust." The weird thing is that I can't locate the MD certificate at all on my computer or phone.yellowstone123 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 2:11 amThank you, Rep Ipsa. Safari is an interesting browser for me. Re: Security certificate has expired n/t
Our resident tech elves have worked their magic, and the site certificate is now functioning. We should have no further problems in the near term. I want to thank the chief tech elf for his efforts keeping this site functional. As a tech ignoramus, I find the whole thing baffling, frustrating, and sometimes infuriating, namely how all of this works or does not. So, we are fortunate to have a great community with very helpful people who are selfless in their efforts to keep this ship afloat.
THANK YOU!!!!
