The ten safety/self care topics covered in these videos are important. Missionaries nowadays are given a lot more preparation on these topics than those of my generation. Kudos to the church produced training platform. It can only result in good.
Critics, of course, may think otherwise.

Doing more than they did 50 years ago, is not the same as doing enough.
Beyond the ten video presentations what other video presentations should be added in order for the church to be “doing enough?
There’s a question in my last statement in case you missed it.
You seem to have a proclivity towards not being able to see them. Like a horse with blinders. Stare straight ahead and move right along not being able to see what’s on the right and on the left.

I don’t think any amount of video presentations would be sufficient. Are the Police given safety training that amounts to just videos? If all the Church is doing in terms of safety training is sitting missionaries down in front of a tv screen then it is being negligent.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Well, OK then. A non answer.

I’ve directly answered the question asked.

“I don’t think any amount of video presentations would be sufficient.”
That’s a direct, clear, specific answer to the question you asked.

Earlier you said:

You haven’t given any specific recommendations as to what video number 11,12, 13, 14, and 15 might be.

What is wrong with you?
Given my answer that “I don’t think any amount of video presentations would be sufficient.” why would you demand I list some videos that I think would equate to the Church doing enough?

I’m referring (tongue in cheek) to the old church leaders who didn’t have the luxury of calling home on their missions. They walked to school through a mile of snow, uphill. In full wool garments.
Modern Mormon kids are sent out to their missions with cell phones, regular family contact, and garments with spaghetti straps. The church bowed to the “snowflake” needs of the new generation. At least they can call it “revelation.”
As long as we understand that you are putting thoughts and words into someone else’s mind/mouth. You’re making stuff up.

A noble tradition inside Mormonism, but one you don’t seem to enjoy outside of your faith?
I didn’t even claim these thoughts were written by the prophets own hand upon papyrus, like Joseph claimed with Abraham!

You’re asking the church to do something but unwilling to give specific recommendations.
I’m done with you on this thread. You may have the final word. It’s not worth the hassle going back and forth with you.
