I do wish to apologize to Hound of Heaven for my previous reply.

Hound, I sometimes forget how long people have been posting here, and how well we all know each other and our "styles." The sarcasm of my secondary statement seemed obvious to me, but I realize that you and I haven't really had a whole lot of interaction before, and of course there's rascally Poe's law. My reply was uncalled for and incredibly presumptuous.

On a human note (not that it's an excuse), I have a herniated lumbar disc that's causing insane pain and loss of use of my left leg (and the insurance battle that comes with it), and I think I'm starting to take it out on other people. You don't deserve that. I've been a complete ass (or more of a complete ass than "normal") to ajax too the last week. The other day I took a passive-aggressive swipe at Ceeboo that's been eating at my conscience as well. Need to probably start saving replies to posts to let myself marinate a bit before committing them to the ole internets.

Ouch. I went back and read your other post, that's a lot to deal with, I'm sorry. And the pain of dealing with insurance companies is a whole new area of pain--I empathize with you there also.

I think if you read carefully, you will notice that I said "one of [the, sic] dumbest . . ."

That wasn't the sentence you needed it to be.
