A lawsuit is being filed in the case against Trump (admin?) for violating federal law by renaming a national memorial by side stepping congressional approval.
Also another against a performer who pulled out of a performance when the name was changed.

Yes indeed, lawsuits out the ying yang, and none land, there is no stopping of his lawlessness or deliberate provoking, there is no shame with his followers in Congress or the Judges, and he literally gets away with anything, and he knows it. I just have no idea how he gets to do whatever suits him regardless of consequences, and the rest of the world has to pay. It is astounding.
It's not hard to figure out how he gets to do whatever suits him. It's called "Presidential immunity".

As I have said before, if you have not already come to that same conclusion yourself, you are either hopelessly naïve and delusional, or you are eagerly in favor of or complicit in Trump's anti-democracy and pro authoritarian, self-serving tyrannical schemes. He hardly even tries to deny or conceal his aspirations in that regard. He has famously and openly expressed admiration for and approval and envy of some of the most notorious despots currently ruling, such as Kim Jong Un, Vladimir Putin, Victor Orban, and Xi Jinping. If you don't know that already, you just haven't been paying attention. Trump has been quite open about that! I think even you must know, or, at least, strongly suspect this is largely true. Haven't even you, yourself, also characterized Trump as an "asshole?" He has succeeded in alienating even many of our closest allies and friends!

Sadly, even if there is a massive blue tsunami in both houses of Congress in this year's midterm elections and political sanity and justice is subsequently regained, it will probably take decades or even a generation or more for our country to regain a significant amount of the prestige, respect and trust it once enjoyed from the rest of the world, even from our closest allies and partners. I don't think it terribly hyperbolic to fear that our democracy, Constitution and basic human liberties are hanging by a fragile thread right now! The Heritage Foundation and its ultra-conservative oligarchs and allies have largely succeeded in their scheme to move our country towards a nation exclusively of, by and for the richest and most self-serving and selfish elites who couldn't care less about the rest of us, especially the least economically advantaged.

I obviously share that hope. The fact that Trump thinks that is a possibility, however, plus the number of unabashedly sycophantic and loyal to him alone appointees he has managed to install and/or influence in all three major branches of our government raises the probability that he will try to and perhaps even succeed in suspending elections by instituting martial law.
