You are about five years late. And you're a sloppy researcher.

This doesn't do much to combat the central point of my argument---i.e., that your "love" for the Book of Mormon, coupled with your "swinging" (for lack of a better term) lifestyle, doesn't add up. Plus, I have asked you elsewhere for evidence in support of your claim that TBMs "often listen" to you. This latest "find" would certainly seem to suggest otherwise.

You just made my freakin' day, Ray.

(well, maybe not the whole day...)

Ha ha! Yeah, woo-eee! It's almost as funny as a researcher who mistakenly thinks Itchy is Kerry Shirts (and spreads this false assumption around), and who then uses the brilliant method of plugging "unusual words" into the FAIR search engine, and who then jerks people around with her (non)information for several months. Man! Hilarious! My day's been made too!

No, it may not do much for your "central argument" (read: attack), but it says a lot about your sloppy research, and your premature lust to discredit those who disagree with you.

I don't have a "swinging lifestyle". And even if I did, I wouldn't want to send Bond into any more fits of jealousy by posting the details.

I don't accept every verse and chapter of the Book of Mormon. I agree with its anti-polygamy stand. I agree there's an afterlife, that we meet "our Maker". From my study of NDEs I also believe the Book of Mormon to be dead accurate in some aspects. Oh, and I also believe that liars will be thrust down to hell.

TBMs did "listen" to what I posted on FAIR. Evidence? Many PMs expressing support and encouragement, even though my views were not always orthodox. Would you like to see some of those PMs? Here's the deal: Tell me who your informants are.

What "sloppy research", Ray? The "research" wasn't conducted by me. I was merely given a tip, and a link to the ZLMB thread. I thought it was interesting that your lifestyle seemed to contrast so sharply with your "love" for the Book of Mormon, and your violence-laced attacks on Church critics, hence the post.

, and your premature lust to discredit those who disagree with you.

What is it you disagree with me about, Ray? I'm actually kind of curious about this.

I don't accept every verse and chapter of the Book of Mormon.

You see yourself as a kind of "cherry-picker"?

Well, you lied when you said you would keep any discussion between you and I private. I turns out that you didn't actually have any genuine curiosity about my "motives," but instead you just wanted to find a sore spot to poke, or an excuse to issue a lecture.

TBMs did "listen" to what I posted on FAIR. Evidence? Many PMs expressing support and encouragement, even though my views were not always orthodox. Would you like to see some of those PMs? Here's the deal: Tell me who your informants are.

In other words: You don't have any evidence. We already know that you fiddle with and mess up PMs, and then refuse to pony up the evidence when the going gets tough, so this argument goes right out the window, buddy boy.

You were "given" a tip and a link and you didn't bother to read it. All you had to do was scroll through three pages, Scratch. Geez....

No. That's not it.

Sounds like you want to discredit him as I see no difference. If he is a hypocrite that is a part of him.

Okey doke.

Scratch, it is about what they say and write but it's almost entirely a search for ammunition.

What the hell are you talking about? How is my posting on an interesting tidbit I got via PM on a par with the stuff the apologists pull on a routine basis? Does this somehow rate with tracking down dozens upon dozes of footnotes so that you can claim a Church critic is "dishonest" or "untrustworthy"?

I for one suspect that before the end we may see a Mormon holocaust. We may see holocausts of all kinds of people. I've spoken with two holocaust survivors. The thing that stuck out the most to me is how quickly a sane society can descend into madness. I have met antis who scare me.

So have I. I have met scary TBMs as well. And then there are the "scary" in-betweeners, such as Ray A.

Come on, Jersey. You are trying to score a point where there is no point to score. You are bitter about the Mrs. Robbins thing, and are trying to stick it to me. Well, get over it. How you feel about the Mrs. Robbins stuff is how I felt getting jerked around by you, with your endless game-playing. If you want me to apologize for posting the PM pertaining to Coggins, I'll go ahead and do that: I am sorry for posting your PM. You didn't deserve that. I was mad that you'd doled out a profane "lecture" to me, and so I retaliated. But, this is not a good excuse, you didn't deserve to have your PM posted, and I'm sorry.

But I am not sorry about looking into your involvement in the Mrs. Robbins thing. You refused to provide a straight-up answer to one of the "victims," and opted to play guessing games instead. What else was I supposed to think, Jersey? If you want to continue carrying a grudge over all of it, well, that is your prerogative.

You bet your sorry sloppy researching ass I refused to provide a straight up answer to one of the "victims". Look what you do with what you get! Not very nice, Scratch. Not nice at all.

What? Correctly identifying Itchy would have somehow been a bad thing? Is that what you're saying? You would have just told me, and I would have---what? Started a thread? And this would have been bad how?

You really have no business accusing me of being a "sorry sloppy researching ass," Jersey. I mean, come on: you had to issue a public apology for your Kerry Shirts screw-up! And then you deleted it out of shame! I have *never* made a foul-up as significant as that. The closest thing was, incidentally, the Mrs. Robbins thing, but there's a very good reason why I made the foul-up, and it wasn't due to being suckered by juliann/Pahoran.
