Oh, don't worry, Loran. I'm sure many of us have long been aware of the fact that you are a fan of the "SS."

Now here's what's really funny. Scratch will fall into any trap you set for him. All you have to do is bait it with his favorite chum.

I purposively used the letters "SS" as an acronym for Screwy Squirrel, an old MGM cartoon character (and second only to Droopy in that pantheon).

I knew he would take the bait.

This individual is a-mazing.

And it was so obvious too. Everybody knows that Screwy Squirrel goes by his initials. Sort of like a rapper. You are right, he is second to you in the pantheon of Toons.

I knew he would take the bait.

With that ingenuity, you could really give Wile E. Coyote some help in catching Road Runner at least once before he reaches Forest Lawn.

Believe me, Loran, I know exactly what you did. You have long demonstrated an inferiority complex, and thus, you deliberately abbreviated the name of the most obscure character in an attempt to make yourself feel (and seem) smart. When your obvious ploy was dumped on your head, it was *you*, my dear friend, who behaved predictably. It makes me wonder if I should have written, "Cue apoplectic meltdown" at the bottom of my post.

In any event, I'm very sorry that you don't feel smart, Loran. Perhaps Church and Temple attendance will help fix that.

The Nehor wrote:Feel free to heckle my campaign. Everyone on MADB is and we had a fun time. Heckling is healthy. However, an in-depth psychiatric analysis performed by an untrained idiot on the Internet and delivered in a spirit of gravity is not heckling. In most online communities you'd be mocked to scorn for trying to be serious about something like this. Only here and on 4chan could you possibly be taken seriously. In the land of the insane, the most inventive loon is king.

Please stop reading desperation into what I write when it's not there. If I were desperate wouldn't I be threatening to kill you again? ;)

Sure, Nehor. Offer up all the winking emoticons you want. None of that will change the basic facts of the matter. Indeed, your thirst for revenge is very great.

Here is a riddle for you: suppose that, in fact, I am not being serious? Suppose that I have been having a bit of fun at your expense? Here you are carrying on about "seriousness" and "psychiatric analysis" and the like, getting very angry, alluding to violence, doling out sophomoric insults, etc. If I have been joking, and this has all sailed over your head, what might that say about you?

The same holds true for Jersey Girl, who is de-railing yet another thread with her blather. I wonder: can anyone identify for me the last time that Jersey Girl produced a substantive, wise, interesting, or entertaining post? I'm really interested to know about this.

And now for the $64,000 question:

The Nehor, did it work? Are you a moderator at MA&D now?

If not, it would add yet more evidence in favor of my thesis. (And well done, Dr. Shades.---I have to compliment you, both on your sense of humor, and your insight into the Mopologetic psyche. Yes, I know The Nehor is a borderline case, but still.)

I'm sticking by my theory that Nehor is in some kind of "flux". He rarely makes a serious post, and he's been subject to all the contra-Mormon arguments here for a long time. I think he's actually seriously considered many of them.

He could have started a post like, "What happens after the Rapture", but he's seldom even started serious posts, or for that matter, any posts at all, except his "bid" to be a moderator.

If you're joking then it shows to me that you have a poor sense of humor and it shows me that I don't find bad humor funny.
