First off, please don't refer to me as part of the category of "you guys". My words reflect my own thoughts, not part of some kinda herd mentality.
The only "lengths" that I have gone to is to bring to your attention that the assault rifle remarks originated with Peterson. You apparently missed that bit of information and I supplied it.
As to your last. No, I am not saying that Peterson's original remark was not a joke nor am I remotely implying in any way, that I think Peterson intended to use an assault rifle on anyone here.
Do you, for a single second, think that Peterson and some guy named Wheat were actually cleaning their assualt rifles as per the following?
