I just got back from vacation, and I have read this post. I haven't read this thread, though. I have lots of unpacking and uncluttering to do, and that's outside of work (to which I return tomorrow), so please have patience.

Dr. Shades, can you explain to me why my post criticizing Dr. Cam in his Dozin' Donny falls asleep thread is moved to the Spirit Prison? Are conservatives not allowed to criticize progressives points of view on this discussion board anymore?

I was very clear in my point of view. Dr. Cam claims that Trump wants to steal money from the tax payers, and I pointed out that it's kind of ironic that he claims that because his entire career was receiving tax money from the government!! He's never started a business, never employed someone, he's never had to write a check to the IRS because his taxes have been deducted from his paycheck for his entire career.

It's my opinion that Trump has no desire to steal from the taxpayers. Why isn't my point of view allowed? Why can't I voice my opinion by comparing Trump's employment as as a government worker to Dr. Cam's career as a government worker?

What rule did I break to deserve to have my post removed from Spirit Paradise?

Also, I get my post removed, but at the same time Dr. Cam is allowed to have two identical threads on the exact same topic. The two threads have the exact same title, explain that to me please!

Can I go back and find one of my threads and duplicate it because I don't like the post that are in it? If so, I'll start posting new threads for that very reason.

Shades, I see that one of your last faithful Mormons MG2.0 has stopped posting again because all the progressives would literally overwhelm him with personal attacks every time he posted. What is the board at now, one maybe two faithful Mormons? Can you not recognize that the progressives on the board take joy in discouraging Mormons to participate on the board?

Your board is going down the exact same path as NOM! If you need help fixing what your progressive moderators destroyed don't hesitate to ask.

You seem like a smart individual, I'm sure you are seeing how the board is becoming less attractive to not only to the people that regularly post, but no one is joining anymore. And as a business owner, I'm telling you that the main problem is that the people you have in charge of moderating the board are idiots! Canpakes is a disaster and mentally can't control his emotions.

Here's the situation. You have a board called Discuss Mormonism and you have maybe one or two Mormons that post here and that's because every time a Mormon tries to post the progressive communists on the board are so upset that a faithful Mormon is giving an opinion they literally run them off the board because they view their opinion as worthless.

If you value meaningful conversations, what should be happening is the moderator team should be figuring out a way to make Mormons comfortable posting on the board.

Have you completely lost track of the fact that your current sock puppet is pretending to be an ex-Mormon who routinely trash talks the church and its doctrine? I know it must be difficult and confusing for you to keep track of all your pretend identities and sock puppets. You’ve spent years pretending to be an ex-Mormon, an ex-Democrat, and let’s not forget an octogenarian who once apparently drove a car across the Pacific, and half a dozen other conflicting online personas. Did you just completely forget which imaginary identity you’re currently pretending to be?

Please be considerate of Binger’s mental state. It may not be worth the risk of loss of book sales and his company’s revenue when folks do a simple search and put two and two together.

But, more to the point, how would Binger being a moderator increase board traffic?

Dr. Shades, I’m not seeking a response to this post; I’m sharing it for you to reflect on the information I’m presenting.

If a moderator engages in a direct confrontation with a board member in a thread and opts to ban the board member rather than simply leaving the discussion, that individual is not fit to hold the position of moderator. A moderator must understand how to navigate the path of least resistance IF THEY ARE GOING TO ENGAGE IN THE SAME BEHAVIOR as the members they punish.

Your concern is acknowledged. A conversation has already been had such that I'm hopeful this won't be an issue in the future.

Shades, in December you and discussed the problem with Canpakes moderating threads that he is actively participating in and taking jabs at posters. Now as we discussed before, and you agreed, Canpakes should be allowed to participate in any thread as he sees fit, but if he's going to throw jabs with board members then he shouldn't be allowed to moderate that specific thread. And today he's back at it, going toe to toe with me in a thread while at the same time moderating me because he's upset at an image I posted. He used red lettering once again towards me for my image while at the same time allowing Drcam to post a picture of me as a troll. Your moderator is once again showing favoritism towards his friends. I thought he wasn't going to moderate threads he's participating in? That's what you said and I still think that's fair. Canpakes doesn't have the ability not to show favoritism to his friends, especially drcam. Can you talk privately to Canpakes again as you did before and remind him not to moderate me and other posters in the that he's also participating in?
