To be blunt, WHY the HELL would I give you any ammunition against me? I think I talked about this on the past on this board. Feel free to hunt in the archives.

Hey! No need to get upset, Nehor. I did you a favor by firing up a thread that would appeal to your narcissism and your desperate need for attention. I don't think it would hurt you in any way to "do me a solid" and provide an honest answer to my question, old friend.

Oh, thank you from the bottom of my soul. I was about to kill myself thinking no one cared.

It might not hurt me but it certainly won't help me. I'm no longer 'one of the good ones' you see. Sic your informants on it. I expect a thread on the Nehor's brush with Apostasy by tomorrow morning....or I'll kill myself due to lack of attention. :)

The reason you won't say, Nehor, is because you don't want to admit that Ray was right about you. In fact, it is becoming more and more clear to me that your "goofball" antics, including your "humorous" MADthread, are all part of an odd game to reassure yourself that you've made the right decisions vis-a-vis Mormonism.

Think about it: as LDS, we are taught that the Gospel gives us a kind of "shield" against the world. Presumably, this should give you courage in the face of anything! And yet, here you are, terrified of answering a simple question. The secrecy and fearfulness one finds among Internet Mormons is very striking. Obviously, this portion of Church doctrine has failed you and countless other Mopologists/Internet Mormons.

Ray's assertion: I have troubles with my faith now.

What I said: I once had problems with my faith in the past before I came here.

Scratchian Logic: I have problems with my faith now and am on a lunacidal crazy run to defend myself by being a goofball.

Scratch, may I recommend you pick up a textbook on basic logic on some point? You're great. I think you may have just created a new fallacy.

Edit: The reason I won't say is that it was an immensely personal struggle that I fought long before I came here. In other words, I don't want to share. However, if you feel your curiosity is a good enough reason for me to answer any personal question please allow me to ask you one first. Please describe your last three sexual encounters in detail. I need this information as part of my analysis of your mental makeup.

I thought I was this board's Narcissus. Have I lost my position? crap.

But... what? Coming here solved them for you? And, anyways, *this* is what you said:

[quoteNope, not in a state of flux. Still reading, praying, doing my Home Teaching, and teaching Gospel Doctrine. Still discussing the state of my soul in a non-parody manner with my close LDS friends. Still asking for visions, spiritual insights, and power to do God's will.[/quote]

Notice that, on some level, you still feel a need to discuss your faith is a "parody" manner, which does indeed seem to support Ray's theory of you being in a state of "flux." You are on an uneven keel vis-a-vis your faith, as evidenced by your "jokiness." As Joyce observed, "There's many a true word spoken in jest."

Scratchian Logic: I have problems with my faith now and am on a lunacidal crazy run to defend myself by being a goofball.

You see? When confronted by a tough issue, you resort to this goofy, very TBM humor.

Edit: The reason I won't say is that it was an immensely personal struggle that I fought long before I came here. In other words, I don't want to share.

That's fine, Nehor. Truth be told, I certainly don't think you are one of "the bad ones." I do, however, think that Ray is correct about you. (He would know, after all.)

How else do you respond but goofily to a non-existent premise being used to support an illogical conclusion and said in a manner of seriousness?

Ray would know the state of my soul......how exactly?

The Nehor, did it work? Are you a moderator at MA&D now?

If not, it would add yet more evidence in favor of my thesis. (And well done, Dr. Shades.---I have to compliment you, both on your sense of humor, and your insight into the Mopologetic psyche. Yes, I know The Nehor is a borderline case, but still.)

Thanks for the compliment, Mister Scratch! In all seriousness, though, I fail to see what my post did to merit it. :-)
