Jeremiah 6:20

What do I care about incense from Sheba or sweet calamus from a distant land? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable; your sacrifices do not please me.

Jeremiah 7:22 (NKJV)

For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.

Psalm 50:9-13

I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it. Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats?

Isaiah 1:11-13

"The multitude of your sacrifices - what are they to me?" says the LORD. "I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats. When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts? Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations - I cannot bear your evil assemblies."

Go tell this blasphemy to Moses and those who set up the altars and killed millions of animals in the name of JEHOVAH! They have thrown Moses under the bus and spoken out against the old Jehovah. But, thus we see, Jehovah is two-faced and full of blood. He is a monster, a demon of bloody hate and murder.

Moses was an evil man, a murderer -- the god of the Bible in each generation was no better. Blood stains are on the doctrine of Christianity a very sick religion, indeed. Take your jezzus and your cross and shove it.

God is simply saying that all the animal sacrifices in the world will not cover sin. They only represented what Christ would come to do Himself. Only accepting the payment of Jesus can one be saved.

SO, exactly what has Chick-fil-A done wrong? It is closed Sundays and hires a cross-section of people. People have religious convictions. People love chicken! Homosexuals are not told that they cannot eat there. No discrimination has happened. Only an opinion has been declared --- freedom of religion and speech. I love chicken and I'm going to eat there when I can.

No he's not. He's saying he is jealous of them making offerings to the other gods. He wants all the delicious meat for himself!
There is no talk of Jesus covering sin in the entire Old Testament.

Of course we do. We know the extent of his physical suffering and the fact that it only lasted for about two days. I acknowledge we don't really know the depth of his mental suffering, but again, it only lasted one night. Additionally, even at the worst, Christ knew it was going to end, and fairly quickly at that, which is hugely significant in deducing his amount of mental suffering.

The fact remains, millions of people have suffered horrific physical abuse every bit as bad as Christ's, for periods of time far longer than Christ did, which means their suffering was worse. Additionally millions of others have suffered agonizing emotional pain their whole lives, and while it may not have been as bad in depth as Christ's, the fact that it last longer, with no relief in sight, makes their suffering just as bad, if not worse.
