Which one of us is he going to cast into the Lake of Fire because someone else is a homosexual?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 9:57 pmYou are looking for excuses to point the finger at those who preached the truth in an area of horrific immorality.
Paul made sacrifices for the sake of the kingdom and now you are pointing your finger at him?
You need to deal with your own blasphemous attitudes.
Jesus is coming back soon to judge. I would get ready if I were you.

Re: Split: Israel's judgement
I’m simply looking at the evidence and describing it. Nobody has objectively established that Paul spoke “the truth”. Maybe in Paul’s day they saw homosexuality in a very unenlightened way. I reckon Paul would be wishing he’d lived during this century. Let me guess, you’re single, right?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 9:57 pmYou are looking for excuses to point the finger at those who preached the truth in an area of horrific immorality.
Paul did not make sacrifices. Paul did what suited Paul best. Just like everyone does.Paul made sacrifices for the sake of the kingdom and now you are pointing your finger at him?
You aren’t the arbiter of what is and what isn’t blasphemous. Now repent and be baptised into the one true Church - the Salt Lake version of the Latter-day Saints. Before it’s too late. (Now, see how that works and sounds when in a polite discussion forum?).You need to deal with your own blasphemous attitudes.
When? When is Jesus coming back? I’d love to meet him. I’ve got some questions for him.Jesus is coming back soon to judge. I would get ready if I were you.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

You believe God codified and blessed slavery.Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 9:57 pmYou are looking for excuses to point the finger at those who preached the truth in an area of horrific immorality.

Edit: Also, it’s kinda hard to take moral outrage seriously when it’s so selectively applied. A pastor in your church was arrested for sexual battery, kidnapping of an employee, and multiple accusers describing coercive behavior. These are serious crimes, man.
Loud complaining about homosexuality ring hollow when your church has dozens of cases of sexual assault within its own ranks. It’s the classic Christian behavior of focusing on specks in other people’s eyes while having a lumberyard crammed into your ocular sockets.

You do realize that blasphemy only exists in the mind of a believer of the supernatural, right? The only people who think attitudes can be blasphemous are people who believe their mental god construct is an actual entity separate from their own imagination, right?
It's like if you came on this forum and started talking about how you don't like Star Wars or Han Solo, and because I'm a big fan, I call your attitude "blasphemous" because I think Star Wars is an actual history, not science fiction. You express you not only don't believe it's a history but you don't like the story or characters, so I think you're being blasphemous. Do you see how ridiculous that is?
Until you can prove your god idea (and you can't), everyone else is forced to regard it as your own creation, man. Get over it.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.
The god idea is popular with desperate people.

To I have Questions :
The LDS church practices baptisms for the dead, which goes against the verse which says that
it is appointed once for man to die and then the judgement.
If people could repent after death it means everyone is going to heaven, which goes against the verse "narrow is the road that leads to salvation and few will find it".
Get out of this Satanic cult before it's too late.

To all who are at least aware it can be seen that all writing in the Bible was produced by human minds out of the humans attempt to understand experience using their inherited language culture and circumstance.
I can see it as possible Paul struggled with same sex desires. The fact he was unmarried would be the strongest indicator in my awareness. Working closely with a man on some project is so common that I can't imagine that indicating much.

What do you make of 1 Corinthians 15:28-34? Because any active LDS worth their salt will refer to it. How would you handle that conversation yourself?Quantum1982 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2026 2:34 amTo I have Questions :

Blasphemy is defined by the person making the accusation; there's no universal standard. All anyone is saying with that is they're offended because you're disagreeing with their precious beliefs. Who cares?
I can call you blasphemous disagreeing with me. It's meaningless. And who gives a damn, right?
What was false about what I said?
