That's a good point and it raises what I think is a really interesting question. Namely: To what extent would an article have to be powerful and persuasive enough for the M.I. to overlook the author's scumbag behavior?

And another thought occurs to me. I wonder if they will simply appropriate Will's ideas and have someone else put them into print. Maybe the Maxwell Institute decided that it would be best to kick Will himself to the curb but to go ahead and use his ideas anyhow.

Hello,

Perhaps they could publish Mr. Schryver's work under a nom de plume? It would be appropriate.

I for one, highly doubt any LDS apologetic journal was ever seriously planning on publishing WS's stuff.

I highly doubt any well respected LDS apologist ever approved of Will's vulgarity.

And, aside from a couple of Will's fans, I'm guessing most apologists would rather the whole WS Book of Abraham episode fad away.

Coudl be wrong....

liz3564:/snip vulgarity/

Considering the c*** lie that the moderator harmony made up, I wouldn't put anything past the moderators here. What we do know is that Will has, several times, denied making the statement in question. I have no doubt that the owner of this board and his moderators would do just about anything to discredit Will, including altering posts. Harmony already did with the c*** lie.

I simply cannot understand how her husband has resisted the urge to off himself for so long. LOL!

Yes. Yes, I did write that.

If you don't believe that the posts that you make on this forum are secure, then I don't know why you even bother posting here. The one time that I commented at a blog where the owner altered one of my comments to make it look like I'd said something I didn't say, I immediately left and never looked back.

I am not de-inviting you from MDB, but to post somewhere where you believe the admin are tampering with your posts is a highly unintelligent thing to do.

Oh, maybe the mods altered his post in which he called Emma a champion b**ch, too. Cuz, you know, he first denied that, but then he admitted it after Ms.Jack showed him the actual post. But hey, since you're now going to claim that mods alter Will's posts to make him look bad, I think you should include that one. In fact, I'm betting the mods altered every post of Will's in which he made vulgar, sexualized insults towards women, and the subsequent posts in which he admitted doing so.

Either you're Will or you have drunk some serious Will-flavored kool-aid.

Will invented a kool-aid that turns people into clones of himself. He is currently running tests of it at the labs of the University of Utah.

No, he's currently in Rome trying to forget that people like you guys really do exist.
