BUT,,, not half the fun of reading, "Porter an' Jersey"!! You guys got a real-thing going here! I can vizualize you each wearing head-sets, sitting across the table from each other, mics tuned & phones ringing...
We lost "Imus" now we got "PP & Jersey Girl"... Can I be yer Agent?? Some great dialogue PP... "...wheels, on or off..." Jersey Gal, I liked "...I'm no Dentist..."!!! "Wally-World", rings much better than "Wally-Land" that I used when spotting an over-night-camping-spot--LOL!!
I needed the fun today... Thanks guys, warm regards, Roger

Hey, don't knock it! Some do... I've travelled all across NA, on both sides of the border, in my 'Van-Morrison' :-) Ain't no better place to 'over-nite'. Unless it's a Truck-Stop with showers :-) Me thinks PP is simply making you the 'straight-gal' in his 'routine'. Actually very entertaining... You're doing good too... Warm regards, Roger

Deceiving the unwittingly ignorant seems to justified for your cult. Counting people as strong members who never attend is justified? Seems to be for your cult leader Flash Gordon.
Telling non members that a boy had an actual visit from god and Jesus is justified? We all know it is an outright lie. We all know it did not happen that way, and one of my experiences with an online mo'chatter resulted in them being corrected by me when they LIED and told me that Smith was told during the supposed first vision to restore the true church. I pointed him to the very page he sent me and told him he was lying. He apologized and said he was new..
When I interact with these poor saps on Mormon.org chat, I am revealing truths about their own beliefs, things that many of them did not know. If they ask if I am a member, I don't lie, I tell them "No, I am not". Gordo might count me as a member, but ethically I am not a member.
We all do not know it is an outright lie. Posing as someone else is an outright lie.

Wow, is that in Arkansas or New Jersey?
Trailers right in the Walmart parking lot... bring the customer right to the store...
OR did they build a Walmart in the middle of a trailer court?
What will the Walton boys think up next?
A new TV show like the Waltons, called The Waltons, but based on a family who lives in a two story trailer(double wide, stacked tall) which happens to be in the parking lot of a Walmart! Of course all of the kids work there.. The grampa is the door greeter... Shopping carts are always scattered around their lot...
Or are some lies O.K.? If so, which lies are O.K. and which lies are not?
How have you figured all this out? And justified your remaining in a church that does quite well at doing the same (lying, that is)?
If the manager of these fine young boys at the Mormon.org call center got on line and fooled them into thinking he was a real investigator to test their skills, would you call him a liar?

Nehor, you bring a good question to the table, namely: "end justifying means" an ethical question of the ages. LDSism is based on "YES!" "... Better one die than a whole nation dwindle in unbelief..." as you well know the 'Laban story'.
It's probably a pointless (trick) question anyway... If i'm choosing a tool i better have the "end" in mind when searching my 'tool-box' :-) There are no rules of engagement (except in mind-numbing spectator sports :-) when one faces real-life challenges. WE act according to our natures & nurturing, individually & corporately. "Fools rush in where da wise hang back..."
As for those presenting themselves publically as official reps of anything, in this case LDS telamissionaries, they're like the guy under the pail of water...someone's going to hit the red disc...
PP seems to have a capacity to tip-da-pail easier, & with more personal satisfaction than most. So be it. When i encounter Ms on the street i always engage them. That's their mission... It is often pathetic--"nice" as they seem/are?-- that they are so unqualified in their 'chosen-vocation'... I imagine that might have a lot to do with Ex-RMs becoming Ex-MOs???
I doubt "Ask-a-Question" will last--great idea that it is... Warm regards, Roger

If "Gordo" counts you as a member, then "ethically" you still are.
