Israel has nuclear weapons and ranks #17 in military strength. Iran (ranks #14) is the only country in the middle east that can be a "threat" to Israel, but there is no evidence that Iran is planning to attack Israel. Countries like Iraq or Syria stand no chance against Israel. I think Israel can defend itself.
https://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-listing.asp Even if some crazy country obtains a nuclear weapon, it wouldn't have to capability to use it immediately. It is obviously not easy to fire ballistic missiles.
There is no imminent threat and we shouldn't be in the middle east.

So what is causing climate change? The good thing is that nuclear fusion may be a reality in the near future, when it happens petroleum will be out of business.

But most Americans do not know why 9/11 happened. According to the
CIA, "The history, culture, and body of beliefs from which bin Laden has shaped and spread his message are
largely unknown to many Americans" Bin Laden "spoke of the suffering of the Iraqi people as a result of sanctions imposed after the Gulf War, and he
protested U.S. support of Israel."
For National Security the US needs to stop getting involved so much in the middle east.
