MW: What was it they couldn’t believe you had made?
ALEFANTIS: Well, we make everything from scratch. Other restaurants, even good restaurants, will, like, not roast their own peppers. You can just buy the roasted peppers in a can. Or you can buy garlic oil. Some products you can get, and they’re consistent and they’re easy. But I didn’t even know that existed actually until they said that. I was like, “What do you mean? There’s another way? You can just buy these things?” Because a lot of restaurants will open a can and put it on. Like our sauce — we harvest a whole crop of organic tomatoes — 10 tons of tomatoes every year. Can them all, store them in the basement, have like a harvest party when it gets loaded in.
Probably an exaggeration?
Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.
… I'm going to dismiss this is as just another partisan attempt to damage President Trump and overrule the agenda that the American people voted for.
MAGA voters voted for a release of the Epstein files, and Trump even campaigned on the issue. Why do you want to suppress the agenda of MAGA voters? Are you loyal to the people, or to one known fraudster that you just can’t bear to quit?
It looks like the Obama administration might finally be held accountable for their lawfare in the Russian collusion hoax. This is something that all of MAGA is in agreement that must happen.
Nope. She has nothing but an attempted distraction intended for and affecting MAGA minds only. It’s working on you, at least.

If not an exaggeration, presumably the harvesting and canning of 10 tons of tomatoes would occur somewhere other than the restaurant. Maybe this 'basement' is also somewhere other than the restaurant. Is there a reason to store 10 tons of anything at a restaurant?

Yes, likely that or a figure of speech. A pizza parlor does not typically have a canning operation that pays for 10 tons of tomatoes (that’s approximately 50,000 tomatoes) up front and then processes all of them and then stores that amount in a nonexistent basement. Even literally interpreted it’s not clear if he’s referring to CPP or his other restaurant (Buck’s, ‘two doors down’ or somesuch).
Interestingly, no one has ever seen this amazing basement where 50,000 tomatoes were brought in, processed, steam-canned and set aside. Seems that someone would have knowledge of this. I’ll keep a lookout for red-stained ex-employees.

Not unless someone has a questionable purchasing strategy and loads of cash to burn on a year’s worth of sauce. And that’s after presumably setting up and paying for a canning operation that would be subject to monitoring and inspection, I’d think.
Then they’d have to find room to store over 3,000 #10-sized tins. That’s a lot of space. Where are the sex slaves going to go?
It seems easier to put the sex slaves on an island, or shove them into a plane frequented by a convicted fraudster found liable for sexual abuse. But, what do I know about the odds? : D

No (storing pizza ingredients in a basement), but it was for a different restaurant, Buck’s Fishing & Camping, located on the same block.

Ajax, do you think Obama forged that drawing? Your guy said that all the files are made up so which Democrat made up that picture?
When have you ever heard Donald Trump use the word enigma?
Pages 55 and 164 of his book "How to Get Rich."
That's the only book I searched, since it was the first one within Google Books that had content search available.

In other news, George Houraney once put together a party at Trump's request for "young women" in a calendar girl competition. The only guest invited was Epstein. Trump literally threw a grooming party just for him and Epstein.

When have you ever heard Donald Trump use the word enigma? At worst, Trump asked one of his aids to draft the letter and then Trump signed it. Either way, this is all old news and certainly nothing that anyone didn't know before the election. Until someone gives me a reason that the Biden administration didn't release the Epstein files, I'm going to dismiss this is as just another partisan attempt to damage President Trump and overrule the agenda that the American people voted for. People like Tucker Carlson who didn't like the strike on Iran or sending weapons to Ukraine are using this to try to bully Trump to do what they want. The left is now obsessed with the issue they ignored for four years because they see a chance to split MAGA. But that's not going to happen for another three years. It looks like the Obama administration might finally be held accountable for their lawfare in the Russian collusion hoax. This is something that all of MAGA is in agreement that must happen.
Ah, yes, the classic "My candidate is too stupid to use those big words" defense.
A reminder that the super totally godly man Speaker Johnson just blocked the release of the Epstein files, and set the House on early recess to buy Trump more time. He’s literally aiding and abetting a pederast and those like him who are in power.
